Wishes Dessert Party ADR Watch Thread # 2 - September 2013 OPEN!!!

Help Please -

I was thinking of doing this with my sister as we are staying one night at WDW prior to our cruise. I asked her if she wanted to go but she said no....I do

So how likely do you all think it would be for me to do a walk up for the two of us on September 22 (saturday night) rather than making reservations?

I think she will like this but she is thinking of the cost - so if we do it, I will probably pay for us both....

If there is walk up availablility and I can get her to agree then I will budget for it. If I understand the reservations - you have to pay now and if she isn't wanting to do this then I don't want to lose my money. I know between now and then as it gets closer I may change her mind (like when we are there).

Not 100% sure but I think walk-ups are not possible for the desert party . You have to have an ADR to get in there...

You don't pay unless you don't cancel appropriately. I would book the ADR and cancel a week before if your sister is still opposed

so I will wait and wait and wait (rather anxiously - like everyone else ) for September to open and then make my ADR ---- thanks to you all!

The Irish O doesn't bother me as much (DBF is Irish and I've seen him Facebook about O'Hana too many times to get upset), but it's that extra "S" that drives me insane! But this is not unique to 'Ohana...people around here say Walmarts, Victorias Secrets, etc. all the time. I'm terrible at math so I think my brain overcompensates in the English department!

Totally acceptable. I have to scratch my head when it's people who have been there 50+ times do it, though!

In all honesty, this stems from my "Walmarts" pet peeve. I mean really, there's a Walmart in every town.

My grandmother always added an s to every store out there and Walgreens was Walgrens instead...

Ah, yes. I know someone who adds an 's' to everything, too. Kmarts, duPonts, and my favorite -- Lowies instead of Lowes! :smile

This is the link I use . . .every . . .single . . .morning (and afternoon!!) to attempt to make an August ADR for this. Unfortunately, I am contiually thwarted by the message "1 Restaurant with No Availability!!" Sooner or later, they are going to HAVE to break loose and open up August!!!

I LOVE being part of one, big, happy, impatient family!!! Each night I go to bed I think "TOMORROW will be THE day", but alas, I am sorely disappointed!! At least I can share my let-down-of-the-day with others who understand!!! BUT, one of these days, you will see in BIG BOLD (probably PURPLE) letters that August is open!!! Just not this morning . . . but I still have hope for this afternoon!!!
