Wishes Desert Party

I'm sure this has been mentioned in the past but I'm having difficulty finding anything about it.
Is it possibe to do the Wishes Desert Party using a dining plan credit?

Unfortunately, no. You pay for it at booking with a credit or debit card.

Especially on DxDP, I wouldn't mind burning a TS credit on the dessert party!

Thats what we were thinking . We were trying to justify upgrading to Deluxe and this probably would have tipped us over the edge. Still have to think about it.
