If Wishes is showing at 7:00 and Illuminations at 9:00, can we catch both? Is there enough time to monorail over to Epcot and find a spot?

DS LOVES fireworks!

Thanks,
Tammy

I'm thinking of trying it when we go during the first week of November. I don't know if it would be practical if you were going all the way from the MK to Epcot because of the crowds getting out of the park and to the various transport options. We're having dinner at Ohana in the Poly, however, so I figure we can make a quick dash to the TTC, beat the crowds and catch the monorail to Epcot.

I have no idea if it will work, but I think we're going to give it a shot (unless everyone is just dead tired).

You should be able to do it, what I would do is watch Wishes from near the train station on Main Street. Leave as soon as Wishes is done and take the Resort monorail, this monorail is generally not as in demand as the other one. Get off at the TTC and take the Epcot monorail. You can walk up to the World showcase and get a spot near the lake there where Future World and World showcase meet.

Here's how we did it. We watched Wishes from the train station (and stayed til the end! :) ) Then, we quickly exited the park and caught the ferry to the TTC. We caught the next monorail to EPCOT from there. We made it to EPCOT in 22 minutes, something like that. We had time to shop a little before we went to the lagoon for Illuminations.
