Does it seem realistic to watch Wishes at 8pm at Ticket Transportation Center and then be at Illuminations at 9pm if I take the monorail? I have a fast pass for illuminations and I will be alone so I can move fast. Just not sure if it's even possible still. It's only a 2 day trip and I'm going there to practice fireworks photography so I would love to catch both shows. I'm going this Tuesday so it should be a low crowd time which will hopefully help. Thank you!

I could be wrong but not sure it would be possible. The monorail can get pretty full and even if you are at TTC you won't necessarily get on the first monorail. I honestly don't recall if there are stops between TTC and Epcot (eg: CR) but that could slow things down. Once at Epcot you need to go through bag check (I am guessing you will have a camera bag) then navigate the front of the park to the entrance area of the World Showcase. I suppose you could give it a try but be prepared for disappointment or at least a late arrival for illuminations.

Where exactly would you watch from the TTC? Maybe the ferry boat dock? Not sure you could get a clear shot from there when the ferry is docking, maybe someone else knows the answer to that.

Wishes is 12 minutes long. So if you watch the entire thing, you COULD be on an Epcot monorail by about 8:20. The trip to Epcot is about 15 minutes, but you have to factor in possibly waiting for a train, and waiting for it to unload and then load. So best case you are at the Epcot monorail station at 8:40. Down the long ramp, through bag check, through the tapstyles, through all of FW, to the FP+ area...I don't see you making it unless EVERYTHING works perfectly. Lots of steps for that to happen. I don't know what happens with your FP+ if you aren't there for the start of the show.

Should you try it? Sure, go for it. But I hope you won't be disappointed if you don't make it.

Will you have a tripod, since you say you are practicing capturing fireworks? That might slow you down a bit if you do.

Best of luck and have fun whatever you decide to try!

Thank you. Yes I will have a tripod and a backpack of gear. Maybe I will readjust plans lol. I will be in MK the prior night but wanted a different view on Wishes. I've seen some people get really nice photos from ttc. Im thinking I will stick with just illuminations. With my luck the monorail will be pulling off as I'm running up the ramp or something.

Definitely possible as I have done the opposite (9pm Illuminations in Epcot and then 10pm Wishes @ the Polynesian). It's definitely all about moving fast and how long waiting for transportation takes. While I would definitely not guarantee it, I do think it's worth a try

Sounds smart. You will want to have time to set up, get your settings right, etc.

Just curious, do you know where at the TTC they have set up? I love to get good fireworks pics and have quite a few from inside the park, but I'd love to take some from the TTC someday. Just trying to picture where they would go. Thanks!

Very realistic and very fun.:)

I do this every Independence Day.

I watch the 9:00 PM MK 4th of July fireworks show from the Ferry Dock at TTC,then quickly board the Epcot Monorail for the 7 minute trip over to Epcot for the 10:00 PM IllumiNations and "The Heartbeat of Freedom".

As long as you head for the Epcot Monorail IMMEDIATELY after WISHES,you will be able to get to the FP+ location in Epcot for ROE in time.

You just have to stay "focused".

It is really great fun to see two awesome fireworks shows "back to back"!:)

Not only have I watched both shows on the same night on multiple occasions, I once watched the 8:00 Wishes from behind Cinderella Castle and was on the bridge between the UK & France before Illuminations started at 9:00.

Watching Wishes from the TTC, you'll easily make it to Epcot in time for Illuminations (unless the monorail breaks down)

Here is Disney's Celebrate America from the Ferry Dock to give you an idea what WISHES would look like from that area.
