Thank you for the bday wish. I've already started receiving presents. Because Im celebrating @ wdw in Sept and i just started a new job i cant take time out to travel for my birthday so my sister started giving me a present a week. One for each decade however she started a week early so i get 5 not 4 presents.
Presents so far: Wiifit, ipod shuffle, new brooks running shoes. I cant wait to see what next weeks and my actual birthday will bring.

I had a wonderful birthday. It was pretty low key because my Mother's Day and recent 15th anniversary were pretty spectacular, but it was a very nice day!

My sister has treated me to several presents this month:
Wii Fit
IPod Shuffle
New Brooks Ariels
Airfare for Sept including seat and luggage fees
Env 2 phone
Race Entry
Party Yesterday
Books and pampering today.


We are scheduled to do a 5k in July, Aug and then EE in Sept.

Turning 40 has been great. I love my new job. I'm having fun and life is just great.

Thank you for the birthday wish. I do have a great sister and refuse to share her Even though we have 2 brothers. Today i really need the wish because after working in the yard on Friday my allergies are horrible and today i had to call in sick to work which i orginially took off.

So many of you cool chicks are turning 40 this year. It makes me wish I were among you youngsters. As the great Jimmy Buffett says in one of his live albums when opening "A Pirate Looks at 40," "I believe Mac and I have put that one astern." That certainly applies to me as well.

Happy #40 to you. To be so active and fun at an age when, frankly many folks have mentally and physically checked out, is great. I hope in 20 years we'll all still be competing in our age groups.

I hope everyone else is doing fine. I have been busier this summer than I was during the school year. Whatever happened to vacation??????? Anyway, we are having fun even though we are busy. I'm running an evening 5K later this month, and I am training for my first Half Marathon! I NEVER thought I would be doing this at my age. It's so wonderful how we can still better ourselves at any age.

I won't be 40 until January but I'm REALLY looking forward to it . A January birthday allows me a yearly excuse to go run the WDW Marathon .
