Wishblade Owners

You have to save them as bitmap files and then in the new software hit the button with the green box. This will bring up a small new box. Load the bitmap file. Then if you just want the outside tell it to trace the outline. And then close it. Ta-da you have traced a Disney logo.

I'm ready, and I have a birthday coming up!

Where did you buy your wishblade?

Am I too late to join the party?? I bought a wishblade over the summer and have used it 2x for titles only since I have no ide how to do anything with it.

How did you get the Disney logos in to autotrace??

Thanks!
If you're asking about the DCL logo and letters/words, I actually hand traced them using the Wishblade spline and polyline tools. When I purchased my Wishblade there weren't autotrace tools or free s/w to use to trace shapes. And you couldn't cut TTF, only the fonts that came on the cartiges. I found the Disney font on a yahoo group that someone else had taken the time to trace and share. I "cheated" with the mickey head and used a punch for that.

Another fun Wishblade thing to try (I had a scrapgasm when I found them!!)

There's a free font out there called "Prototype Community" that's a wingding font- you can cut all kinds of EPCOT themed goodies- like the Future World icons.

Made the WB worth it right there!

The WB is great for Disney pages. I have almost all the Disney related fonts and I use them a great deal. Not all of the fonts cut well.

The prototype fonts can be downloaded from the Mickey Avenue site.
http://mickeyavenue.com/fonts/prototype/

Mickey Avenue has a wondeful list of the fonts related to Disney movies, parks... http://mickeyavenue.com/fonts/disney-fonts.html#parks
It is a great resource. I have many of the fonts so if there is a particular font you want I would be happy to help you if I can.

When I posted about Disney Park Clip art, I was talking about jpegs I found at this site http://clipart.disneysites.com/display.php?catID=127 or with a google image search. I opened them in the RoboMaster 2.40 software and cleaned up vectors and such before saving it as a GSD. I went to Disney for 2 weeks in December and have been ill for a few weeks since I returned so I have not done more. It is fairly easy with the auto trace and such in the RoboMaster 2.4 software. Once it is cleaned up and saved you can open in WB program and cut. I am a newbie with WB but if I can help let me know. My LSS is having a class in Feb for the WB and I plan to take it.

I want more toys! OK, I've nowhere to put them and no time to use them, but is that a problem?

Oh, no money to buy them might be ;)
