Does anyone know what time you actually are back at WWOS and finished? We fly out on Sunday due to the change in jobs for DH. Also, MAN, I just realized that I get no sleep since I have to be there at 3am. YIKES. I am going to be mighty cranky!

Jen, I think Jim said last year they were done at 8:30AM. You'll be having too much fun to be cranky!

They are very strict about not letting anyone volunteer who does not have their lanyard credentials. Let me see what I can find out.

I can attest to this! Last year I left my room at the Pop Century with my lanyard on, when I get to the WWoS, no lanyard. I went and talked to the coordinators and they said I could not volunteer without the credentials and if a race director happened to see me on the course without the credentials, they would pull me off the course. This was around 3:00-3:30 am, the buses were scheduled to pull out at 4:00 I think, they told me if I could find my lanyard than I could come back if I made it before the buses left. I went out and searched the car (so I thought), drove back to the Pop and looked everywhere I had walked, searched our room and couldn't find the lanyard. By this time Stephen was ready to leave for the marathon start, I decided to drive him to the start, got in the car and saw my broken lanyard down between the seat and the center console. It was about 5 til 4:00 at this time I wasn't sure I could drive back over to WWoS, park, check-in, and get on the bus in time so I wasn't able to volunteer. I was really disappointed, after talking to all the volunteers throughout the day on Sunday and the next morning at breakfast, it sounded like everyone had a great time!

My parents will be at #9 on teh half. I'll make sure they snub you too! WIth all teh attnetion you'll be getting on teh full course, we must have balance!

Yesterday I got a call from Disney Sports regarding my query as to where the Pluto parking lot was. I was not at home at the time, so the person left a fairly detailed message. Carrie, it is NOT the one in the link you posted. He specifically said that the wrong one will come up if we use a search engine. The Pluto lot where we are meeting is in the main MK parking lot and that it is walkable from the Poly, so we should be in good shape. He said the best thing to do would be to ask at the front desk and they will direct me to the right place. So as of now, we are on again! I wish I had a diagram of the main parking lot with all the sections labeled. I do recall it as a VERY large lot and I hope we don't have to walk the entire length of it to get to Pluto.

Jeanne - I just got the same information via e-mail. Thansk fro letting me know, though.

Looks like Kevin won't have to carry so much water. Scott adn I were moved to #9 with mom and dad. I liked teh idea of doing 2, but much easy if we are all together when we will only have one car.

Carrie: did you get more specific info as to where Pluto actually is in relation to the main TTC entrance?

Jeanne - This is all I got. "The Pluto Lot is actually a division of the regular Magic Kingdom guest parking lot so you will simply follow directions to Magic Kingdom (you will have driving directions on your parking pass which you will receive when you pick up your credentials). The Pluto Lot you found on google is a different location that is not where you want to go." I can still drop my cew off and come get you if you want.
