I'm pretty sure RWS#2 is full, but there may be spots left in our RSW#2 Group. That link is earlier in the thread.

Jeanne - Thanks for that great response! I was asleep at the wheel. (Actually I was trying to do on-line check-in at BLT but I'm a little too anxious. Have to wait until tomorrow I guess.)

I came across this Tour de Troit (it's a bike tour someone i know is doing) faq and just had to copy and share....

"I am interested in joining the attractive, intelligent, successful, forward-thinking group of volunteers that put on this amazing cycling event. How can I become one of these world-changers?"

And do you know who I thought of? But of course! All of our wonderful WISH volunteers and cheer supporters because you all are....attractive, intelligent, successful and forward-thinking and most definitely world changers. Others will see ALL the wonderful volunteers and cheer people (WISH and non-Wish) and think WOW those people are making a difference! They are making a huge contribution to this weekend and next year more will want to become part of the attractive, intelligent, successful, forward-thinking Marathon Weekend Support Club!

You all totally rock!!! anyways, saw that and but of course thought of our own wonderful group

Just got my confirmation letter and they've moved me from M-K! I am not thrilled about it. I picked thst spot for the time commitment and also had a friend volunteering at the same spot. Messes up my plan to go right to MK once I was done. Now I'm over at Epcot for twice as long.

I sent them an email (with a screen shot of my confirmation), but I doubt it will do any good. I seem to remember people getting switched last year and stuff about "we reserve the right to move...yada, yada". You'd think since I signed up on day 1, I'd get the spot I signed up for!

Ouch, Maura. What did you ask for and what did you get? I haven't received my confirmation yet, but if I can't report to the Pluto parking lot, I can't do it since I won't have a car. I would definitely try to get your original request. There is a phone number you can call and leave a message. I did that last year when I had a question and they got back to me fairly quickly. Hope it all works out.

I got my confirmation and I am where I asked to be. Full WS #7 and it is scheduled from 4-10, although I am sure we will be done before then as when I was at WS #11 we were done by 9:30.
Also for this station we meet at the same place as last year. MK parking lot across from the Poly!!

Popping in to see where everyone will be. Have not seen our confirmation yet. Signed up for full red #2 but the rest of my group (ROTE) is reporting #13. Why would they give us a choice if they are just going to move us where ever.

Jeanne I signed up for the Magic Kingdom Auto Plaza from 5-8 am and they gave me Epcot Finish Course Monitor 5:30-11. Plus now I have to park at WWoS, too--which makes it more of a pain dealing with bus transportation--why not let us park at Epcot? I would still like to switch back to original, but will do this one if they don't accommodate. At least I should be able to still see & cheer on all the WISH'ers!

Our confirmations arrived today and it is the spot I requested. Full water stop #7 which reports to the Pluto lot. My hours are listed as 4am to 10 am ....actually a longer shift than when I had TWO water stops last year! As Tracy said, we should be finished way before that.

Maura: you are right to be bummed out. To move you from a fairly short shift to one of the longest just doesn't seem kosher to me. I would definitely question that.

Bumping...

I am staying at Pop. Will most likely try to get a bus early AM to EPCOT with the racers then Monorail over to MK parking lot. I don't want to have to worry about a car that I have to go back and get. Then I may head over to AK or HS and then over to EPCOT afterwards.

So WS #7 is Jeanne, Jeanne DH, Corrina and Howard and me!! (I don't think Bryan is coming, but I don't want to speak for him)

Sandy, we are also at this water stop. I know we got a letter (but for the life of me I can't find it at the moment) and I don't remember reading about where to park, etc. We'll be at BWV and want to make sure we are where we need to be when we need to be. Any suggestions?
