I currently have plane tickets for tonight on the Delta shuttle at 8:30 AT NIGHT. All I want to do is go home. I called Delta yesterday on the phone and they informed me that there is no such thing as standby on the shuttle flights.

In order for me to change my flight for the standby fee (25 dollars as opposed to 100 and something) I must call exactly three hours before a flight that is the same price as my original departing flight. So in other words, I must call at exactly 7:30 am to get on the 10:30.

Wish me luck!! If I don't get on this flight I don't know WHAT I'll do. Okay, so I'll just wait around on this deserted campus until about 5:00 at night, lol. Fun stuff. Currently I'm eating breakfast nervously, and finishing packing before I call. Believe me, when I call that number I will have my coat on, scarf tied, and bags zipped up!!

Good luck with getting on the standby. I would be interested to hear how you do, as we are booked on the 8:15 Delta flight from BOS to MCO in January, and I would love to get us out on the earlier flight as well.
