I'm not sure about in Canada, but in the US generally the Wish Granting organizations will discuss directly with the child (to the extent possible) to find out what the child wants, and then make it happen.

And I am moving this post over to the Disneyland forum as it is probably better suited there.

I have not gone to one of these, go figure for living in L.A. my whole life, but if you decide on Sony's I can recommend places to eat since I live across the street.
