Wish I had brought THAT?!

All those suggestions were great, but if you bring scissors, leatherman or anything of that sort, make sure if you fly to WDW, pack them in your suitcase that goes on the plane. I had my cuticle scissors taken away at Newark Airport, in New Jersey before we left.

This is a very good point I forgot to add. Thanks iluvdizknee!! Would hate to see folks get their stuff taken by airport security over an innocent mistake.

Ear plugs if your kids are noise sensitive. Some of the attractions are VERY loud, and my son would have liked them much more if he had earplugs. :teeth:

I learned after my first trip to bring moleskin, something to cut it with and that blister band-aids.

We had two rooms. I wished that I had brought 2 toothpastes and 2 bodywashes. At least the rooms were connecting

I bring lots of ziploc bags, all different sizes. They seem to come in handy every day for something or to keep something dry. Small water bottles that we keep refilling in the parks and a permanent marker to know whose is whose.

The powerstrip idea is great. I never thought about that for our cell phones chargers.

Glow sticks from the Dollar store, I did bring these last week, they were a big hit at parades and night shows, and they were so cheap we were able to share with those around us, my kids loved that.

WOW...I had trouble talking DH and DS (9) into wearing 1 set of matching tie dye shirts that we are going to make. Are you wearing matching shirts the entire time? That will make for great photos! princess: pirate: :earboy2:

4 of the 10 days we were there (10/1-10/10) we all wore the same shirts. The rest of the time just the kids matched..had to give DH a break! :teeth:

I took a few glow braclets for the nights(for the dollar store). My boys are 11,13, and 14. I wish I had brought more. They really enjoyed them!!( how your children can surprise you)

I'm pretty well-equipped for our trips, but last time I found myself wishing I'd made DH get a hat before we went down.

I'm a hat person and I knew he'd want one after a day or so in the parks to keep his face from getting burned, he insisted he didn't need any darn hat, and guess what we spent most of our morning at AK doing? Trying to find a hat for him. LOL. He was so picky I wanted to kill him, anything he didn't like didn't fit, and anything that did fit, he didn't like, and he ended up buying one of the ones he'd tried on at least three times and rejected. heh.

more socks, Pepcid or some type of OTC acid reducer (they don't sell it at the resorts), disposable cups for brushing teeth

monistat- ladies, you know what I mean!

A pen light for the little ones. It can help during the dark rides. :)

A little bottle of dish detergent. I found a number of things that had to be washed (sippy cups, spoons, the drink cups from the resort...)

By the way, sending people on phantom searches for Micky is not so bad...I grew up in Washington D.C. and we used to send people into the 'hood for fun when they asked us for directions...don't worry, I've matured since then! ;)

scissors for the mole skin. They are the only thing I've ever not thought to bring that I needed

I forgot these too! We even tried using the plastic knife from the hotel food court and it didn't even tear it a little. I did find though that the Nexcare Waterproof Bandages stay on very well even after hours in socks and tennis shoes in the sun.

I also thought the power strip idea was great. Being inspired by this thread I'm making a "Things To Add To the Packing List" list in my notebook that I use for planning.
