I have been looking so forward to this cruise vacation starting in less than 3 days!! Just a week ago I was singing both at home and at work. Now Im just worried that we wont have a roof over our heads starting Fri and all next week! Can I just go crawl up in bed and wake up with this mess over with? If I dont end up on the cruise I dread finding someplace else to go. Not looking forward to that nightmare. Ive been looking forward to this cruise for 11 mos now and suddenly all the excitement/joy has been taken away from me.

I forgot to mention twice this month we've had to put over $200 into our furnace so we dont come home to a flood!

We cant cancel the trip because then we'd also loose the airfare

Imgoingtodisney, this is about your 10th distressing post about this cruise. I think, for what it's worth, that you're tooooooooooooo strung out over this thing. My understanding from the news was that DISNEY would facilitate reservations for people at WDW if DCL had to cancel any of the cruises. Is that so???? If not, there's a HOST of places in Orlando to stay......most of them are MUCH CHEAPER than WDW. Hey, why don't you try my MOTEL 6!!!!!

I think that you're bringing far tooooooooooo much grief upon yourself. JMHO

IMGD--take deep breaths. Calm yourself. Everything will be ok. Call DCL and ask what is going on. I know you're on the cruise board too. Has that person on the ship that posted the other day posted again? I am CONFIDENT that all will be well and you'll be hearing Jimmy Buffet on Saturday.

Hey, just remember that you have a WHOLE WEEK OF VACATION COMING . I'm not sure if they identified the pathogen on the DCL ship; I know that CDC thought that the NORWALK VIRUS was responsible for similiar illness on Holland-America. If DCL has the NORWALK as well, I WOULDN'T be worried; most likely there will be NO cancellations; if it's another agent, and the cruise is canceled, you'll have a whole week at WDW!!!!

I'd be stressed too - I worry over every little thing.. BUT - if only two things can happen - either the cruise or WDW puts you up there for a week - well - you get an awesome vacation either way!!

Don't forget this is DISNEY you're dealing with. If the cruise does happen to be canceled they will take care of you, no doubt in my mind. I'm sure they'll find you fantastic accomodations on site at a fantastic rate. Why worry about this? The obsessing you are doing now is worse than anything that will happen Friday.
