WISH Check-IN Week of May 11

I am down 1.5 lbs. this week!!!!! For a toatl of 18 lbs. gone!!! I am within spitting distance of that 20 lb. clippie!!!! Nobody better get in the way or you may get wet!!!!!!!!!!:bounce: :Pinkbounc :p
 
After having a completely stressed-out week at work last week, I lost 4.5 pounds. And so, I made my first 10% goal at WW (and then some) and even made it past the 30 pound mark.

I admit, running around like a complete lunatic is not the best way to lose weight, but, hey, who am I to look a gift horse in the mouth?
 
Well, I'm the one that gained 1.5 lbs this weekend but it was expected, I had two birthdays at home ( two cakes ), it was mother's day ( so I didn't indulge but I didn't deprive myself either ) plus TBF came to visit me and she's still sticking around. I had lost a total of 3.5 lbs since I started WISH , now I'm back to working my weight off , exercising and eating sensibly , and hopefully TBF will leave sometime this week.
So NO LOOKING BACK, now it's time to go back on track!
 
It looks like everyone is having a great week this week considering!! So I'm happy to announce I lost 2.5 lbs. this week and I'm ready to give a hearty WAHOOOOOOOOOOO!!! I've got 2 more weeks to lose another 1 lb. to reach the goal I set before seeing my family and another 2 lbs. before I'm able to lasso that 20 lbs. clippie! I'm just so happy to be able to fit into all the summer clothes I bought for my wedding 2 years ago that I couldn't wear last year but baby I can now!! That's one of the best feelings in the world and I wouldn't trade it for anything!!

Keep up the hard work everyone - we can all reach our goals if we just stick together!!

Well since this is only my first WISH check in I have to report 0 pound loss this week. So that keeps me at 45 total since I started this journey the end of January.

But that is ok, I found that I lost very regularly the first couple of months but last month found a 10 day stretch when I held steady on the scale but lost some inches - a toning phase, and the same seems to be happening this time also. If the pattern repeats I should show a drop again by the end of the week!

Off to walk now.

Hello WISH friends. As some of you know, I reached my goal during the week. For Mother's Day we went to the most incredible buffet that would work on any weight loss plan. It was a japanese seafood buffet and sushi bar. There was crab, lobster, baked salmon, calamari, shrimp, more sushi than I have ever seen in my life, chicken, beef and other Japanese favorites. The desserts were cut into 1 inch squares so that you really could have just a bite. (okay - I had 3 bites ;) )

I also had my best weight loss moment yesterday. At the hockey rink my DD heard another mother say that she had lost 10 pounds recently. Her reason for losing weight was due to a conversation that we had 2 weeks ago. I had inspired her to get healthy and given her the motivation to get started. :)
 
Well, last week was a stressful week. Starting on the 4th with tornados in our area and the threat of severe weather for the rest of the week. Plus, it was TOM. I ate pretty well, but went over my points several days. But I still lost .8 lbs, so I was happy with that. So far I'm back on track this week, so hopefully I will have a nice loss to report next week! (I even turned down birthday cake on Sat. - boy was that hard!)

It's Monday, my weigh in day, and I am HAPPY to report that I am at 209.5 and can report a loss of 2.5 pounds!!! I am working hard and WISH is keeping me SO motivated that it (almost) feels easy!!

THANKS to EVERYONE!!!

now I am off to change my clippe ;)
 
I lost 2 lbs. Add that to the 2 lbs I lost the week earlier and I am almost ready for my 5 lbs signature! S
 
Ok guys, here goes it! I did my first weigh in this morning after my first week on WW and......I've lost 7 pounds!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't believe it! I am so excited I can hardly stand it. This board had everything to do with my decision to start getting healthy thanks for all of your inspirations :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce:
 
WOW - everyone did very well this week.....CONGRATS!!!

I actually forgot to weigh myself this morning before I got in the shower and there is NO WAY I'm gonna do it after - all that water in my hair will add 5 pounds!!!!!!

The bloat fairy and Aunt Flo paid their visit this week for me too and I could see in my feet this morning that I was definitely taking the bloat fairy into myself. So I will try to remember to weigh tomorrow but I'm not looking for much of a loss because I really was not that good this week - although I did give up cake at a celebration I was at which I was proud of. I also ate alot more salads again this week but I also ate more candy type stuff too - I think it must have been the stress.
 
Thanks for the good thoughts everybody! I just can't wait to see what the doctor has to say.... :)

Hi everyone:

I am back from our trip to Disney, and I am very sad to report that the only thing I lost over the last 10 days was my suitcase. I gained 3 lbs on my trip. Oh my! This is only a temporary set back I will get back into the swing of things quickly and those 3lbs will be gone very soon.

Everyone is doin great. It is very encouraging to hear this. I lost a big fat 0 this week. But, I didn't gain either, to it's:

Onwards and downwards for me.
 
Ooooooooh! I love my new scales. Not that they dropped 10 pounds or anything, but they did record a 1.5 pound loss.

Wow, I am really behind on my WISHing this week, I can't believe this thread is on page three already. I wish I had time to personally congratulate each and every one of you, but time will not permit that this week. But congratulations to everyone who lost or maintained and for those of you that showed a gain, hang in there, this week will be a better one.

I am pleased to announce that after a scare earlier in the week (I have learned not to check the scale every day...maybe) that I have lost 2 pounds this week for a grand total of 24 pounds since starting WISH (33 since my journey began)!!!:bounce: :bounce: :bounce: Only 1 more pound to go for that new clippie and 5 more pounds until I reach my next goal!

Keep up the great work everyone! Before we know it we will have an accumulative WISH total of 1,000 pounds lost! Won't that be something!
