I don't know why, I lost, but I owe most of it to everyone's wonderful support. Thankyou all, very, very much.

Congratulations to everyone that lost weight and inches and maintained, and the rest of you guys can do it. I know you can. Keep moving onward and downward.

God bless you, best wishes, and encouragement, RaySharpton:)

I didn't weight in last week, because it was that TOM and I didn't even worry about getting on the scale. Then when I weighed in this week the boards were down. Well.....hoping that I could finally claim my new clippie after my Auntie Flo left (BTW I've never heard that expression before the WISH board:p )

But I'm not able to claim it yet.....Total lose since joining WISH = 9lbs , but I'm stuck (4 weeks now)

But 3 great things that have happened this week:
1) I joined a gym!:Pinkbounc
2) I'm not craving carbs-----WAHOO :bounce:
3) I've determined to do the Fat Fast that Karyn & Tracy did (they inspired me!), to finally break this.

Another week of no loss. So I went out and bought myself a new scale. One that is digital so even if I loose a few ounces I will know it. I have not been very good the last few weeks we have had weddings and birthdays celebrations galore. I am really going to try this week to not cheat at all. Hopefully next week I will show some kind of loss.

Well! I let myself get behind again.

Nancy WOO HOO!!!! You lost 5.6 pounds in one week? That is stupendous! That is fantastic! What a success you are and so determined too. You should be excited you are doing a great job--getting closer and closer to goal.

I love your exuberance. It's good to celebrate success--it's positive reinforcement. Besides that it's good practice, you will be celebrating reaching goal one of these days, you will really be celebrating then :)

I'm just so proud of you for not giving up and staying focused on your goal. Way to go!

Tink33 I love it that you continue to visit WISH to help keep us motivated. You are at goal and now you have some pretty new clothes. Have lots of fun meeting up with your DIS friends. Be sure and take lots of photos and post them on DIS meets board so we can see everyone.

You are still losing even though you are at goal. I'm so impressed with your determination and focus. You are a great example for me.

giggles221....uh oh....did y'all see what giggles just said? Only? You only lost half a pound, giggles? Do you have any idea of what you accomplished last week? How about an illustration? Go get 10 slices of bacon and a roll of duct tape. Now tape a slice of bacon on some body parts. Doesn't matter where, your neck and forehead are particularly good places for reasons of illustration :) Now, wear those 10 slices of bacon around an hour or two. I'll bet when you take them off you will be saying:

:bounce: :bounce: I lost a whole half a pound!!! :bounce: :bounce:

Do you realize that if you lose just one half pound each week for a whole year you will have lost 26 pounds at the end of that year? I know you would have been dismayed to have gained a half a pound. You should at least be half as happy to lose as you would have been sad to gain.

Now, you lost a half pound even though you didn't work out and you have been quite ill. Your poor little body is doing the best it can with what it has to work with. Celebrate every little success and you will have more success.

Be proud of yourself. You are doing your best and you are making progress. I know you want to make progress faster and when you are all well and able to work out again you will lose faster. For right now, you get points for staying with your plan and doing the best you could. I'm proud of you for that (and I hope you don't mind that I tease sometimes.)

cart-mom 5 pounds gone forever! That is wonderful progress. Even eating a couple of biscuits didn't slow you down. I wouldn't try that too often, it will catch up with you ;)

You are doing a great job with this and you are definitely on your way to goal. I'm really proud of you for being so determined and successful, I sure hope you are feeling proud of yourself.

TigH YIPPEE!!! Way to go, TigH! I love getting to celebrate your success twice. Thanks for posting to the checkin thread too.

I love that gorgeous 20 pound loss clipart, it looks great on you. You worked hard and persevered and never gave up and you won a reward. Good for you! I'm really proud of you.

ahutton Look at it this way, it's probably that pesky bloat fairy as you suspect and if it is then when the BF leaves you will be showing a larger loss. You will lose the fluid and the fat that you already lost but was masked by all of that fluid.

I'm proud of your good attitude about this. You will be seeing a lost soon, I'm sure.

jimmytammy I love your positive attitude and I really love the way you celebrate your success. Another 1.5 pounds gone forever and you have broken the 150 pound barrier. That 10 pound loss clippie is practically in your signature already.

You are doing very well and you are so determined, I have no doubt that you will make that 7/4 goal you set for yourself. You keep this up and you will be reacing your final goal sooner than you think.

Be proud of yourself, I'm sure proud of you!

mickeyfan1 Marsha, losing .5 pounds for you is like me losing two pounds. It is a significant loss. I'm proud of you. You refuse to give up even though you are resistant to losing.

Love that new clippie, it looks great on you. Be proud of yourself, you are a success!

Rain Way to go! Losing three pounds in one week is wonderful progress. You have switched your eating plan and are once more seeing success. Good job! You are following the Atkins plan, now, right?

I've asked for one of our technical moderators to put the WISH member clipart back in your signature but if you have lost 21 pounds since taking the challenge, I should have him/her add the 20 pounds loss clip. Let me know which one you need.

Be very proud of yourself, cutie. I'm so proud of you. You haven't given up--you just keep trying. That's great!

Did you know that we have a WISH chat every Thursday evening now? Kaylee host at 7:30 pm BST. I hope you can join us next week.

RaySharpton WOOHOO!!!! You lost 8 pounds in one week? What tremendous progress you are making. I know you started off losing a little more slowly than you would have liked but look at you go now!

I would like for WISH to get the credit for this but I'm afraid all of the credit is due to you. Yes, WISH helped but you are the one who did all of the important stuff. You stayed on plan and you didn't give up, even when you were feeling very discouraged. I know you were feeling discouraged, Ray. But you didn't give up! Look at you now!

I can't wait to see another photo of you Ray. I could see a difference in your face in the photo from the Atlanta meet and I'll bet you are going to be getting comments from some of your coworkers soon. They are going to start noticing that you are getting smaller.

I'm so proud of you, Ray. I hope you are feeling proud of yourself. I love that new clippie, too. Don't get too attached to it, though. I've got a feeling that you will be trading up again very soon. Good job this week!

MaMudduck Well, you sound newly determined and pretty enthusiastic. I hope you get the results from the fat fast that you want. I understand it can be pretty tough but I'll bet you don't have any problems at all.

Just don't stay away from WISH, keep us posted. I can't wait to see how well you do with this. Good luck.

lynr Okay, you have a new scale and you have a new determination not to waiver from your eating plan. That's very good.

I have not been very good the last few weeks

Yet you didn't gain? You maintained your weight. I see that as a positive thing. You could have gained. But you didn't.

Don't be angry with yourself. You have identified the problem and set out to solve it. I'm proud of you for doing that--you should be proud of yourself too. You didn't give up. That is something to be proud about, being determined.

Hang in there. Now that the celebrations are out of the way you can become even more focused on goal and I'll bet you start seeing success again very soon.

Whether you lost, gained or maintained your weight this past week, the fact that you came to WISH and shared your progress is so important. You not only help me when you do that, you help other WISHers who may not post to this thread but read it.

You also help our lurkers (yes, we know you're out there--we're saving you a place). Lots of people read WISH and never post but sometimes, by reading threads like this one, they learn that WISH is not only a safe haven but friendly and fun too.

Thanks for keeping me motivated, my friends.

Hee Hee I love the image of me walking around with bacon taped all over :D Duct tape does work for everything doesn't it? Thanks for keeping things in perspective for me, you are absolutely right! One less .5 pounds hanging around my body that I have to worry about! :D
