WISH Check-in Thread Week of January 11, 2004

I just need to lose that last 1/2 pound to get myself back to my lowest weight ... and then it's downward from there :)

Just finished my first week of Atkins Induction.
Lost 7 pounds!
 
I'm up 2-3 lbs :(
However I went a bit crazy this weekend including 2 cheesesteaks from Pats. I think I've got control again.

Otherwise it was a pretty good week. I exercised 2 days which is 2 days more than I have exercised in months. And I drank plenty of water.
 
I maintained this week, which is just fine with me. I went totally off plan this weekend at Disneyland, plus I'm still trying to get back in to the swing of things. The scale has stopped going up, and that's all I care about right now.

The Whoosh Fairy visited me 2!!!

Down 3 lbs. for the week. I'll be weighing myself a little more often this week. I'm dying to get my 5 lb. clippie and Aunt Flo is due on Saturday:earseek:

With luck I'll make the clippie b4 the weight jump arrives. And maybe this month I'll be able to fit into my jeans comfortably while she visits......NAHHHHHHHHHH

Ok...I'm back on track...still working off my holiday gain, but still have the same clippie. Gee, I'd love a new clippie in the next couple of weeks! I have so much motivation right now it is scary! I'm going to scare the pounds off! ha ha AND I just signed up for the half marathon. I'm so excited.

BTW, Thanks for the Tag, Tag Fairy!! I just noticed it! AND yes, free is my favorite word...or maybe gift? Ha!

Hello All

Glad to see most people with good news after the holidays!! I have decided to move my check-in day back to Monday & so I am reporting a 1lb loss - which I am OK with - it is another step in the right direction!!

Hello Everyone! My first official weigh in. Been on WW one week today and lost 4lbs. From 153.5 to 149.5!!
 
After a not-so-great week, I am happy to report a 1 lb loss.

I have been having trouble preparing meals. I am going to be switching over to Nutrisystem with a friend of mine at work. I am hoping to do better by having the food ready-made.

I have been maintaining my WW points but am not meeting the guidelines for fruits, veggies, and dairy. I think that is why my weight-loss has slowed.

But as with Nancy, I am also only 2 lbs from ONEderland.

I got a visit from the whoosh fairy too! 5 lbs. GONE!!:teeth: Yay! I get to claim my first loss clippie!
 
I've lost 6 pounds since starting my diet. :) Woo Hoo!! I love losing because it gives me incentive to stick to the diet and keep exercising! I'm just starting, so I still have lots to go, but I'm very motivated as my best friend is getting married next january and I'm in the wedding...I definitely want to lose the weight before then!
 
I feel like Otto's Doll- I copied her loss this week! I'm down 4 pounds and 1 pound away from my ever lowest and 3 pounds away from my 60 pound clippie. Now here is where the fun begins- I'm on a FINAL 40 mission. From this point until May 1st- I want to lose my FINAL 40. I have started back working out at the Y and I've committed to 5 days a week of 1 hour getting my heart rate in training mode (partially to meet this goal and partially to help out with training for the 1/2 marathon)

So from here on out I will be deducting pounds off my FINAL 40!!! I probably should include these four pounds because it will still put me at my goal to be in the 140's so for this week I am
4/40!!! YEAH!!!!

Oh and I also bought myself a pair of really small jeans and a jacket for inspiration- the little things help! :)

Okay - I've been gone from this thread for a long time. I started back on program last week, and made a promise to myself that I will come here every week the computer lets me to post. I lost 2 this week. Cheers for everyone who has kept on keeping on, and for any lurkers out there - join in!!!
 
Well, after my 1st week on WW I am down 1.5 lbs. I am finally back to where I was before all the Christmas Cookies :rolleyes: . I was hoping for a bigger loss my 1st week, but can't really complain. I had some great meals & wasn't hungry very often. Hoping for another loss this week! :Pinkbounc :bounce:
 
Well.. my official WI was down 2.8 lbs... I really think I lost more.. but alas... that dreaded TOM ww gain etc... soooo I am really looking forward to next week's WI.. hopefully the scale will reflect my dedication.. I have exercised EVERY day..and am drinking my water.. and staying well within my points.. not using the Flex points at all...So... that is why I am expecting a greater Weight Loss....... At least it's downward!! Yipppeee... Maybe I should have ordered that shirt in a medium!! Hmmmmm.... LOL!!!

No loss for me this week (almost had to give back my clippie), which is kinda upsetting - it's the first weekly weigh-in since September that I haven't lost weight. Especially because I thought I had a really good week, finally back onto my regular workout schedule and eating plan. It might be TOM, but I don't know for sure. Argh.

Not much else to say at this point. Just keep trying, I guess. I hope everyone else is having a better day. :(
 
I maintained this week. Obviously I would have liked a loss, but i'm ok with maintaining. Hopefully, next week will be better. :D

AprilN-You mean you have lost every week from Sept til now?? I think that's fantastic!! I seem to hit maintainance every other week!! As great as you have been doing, I'm sure this is just temporary and you will be back on the losing side next week.

Dan-I was going to offer you three of my pounds, so I could post a loss, but I see that Karen has already beat me to it. And I'm sure you wouldn't want 6!! Oh well....


Of course they always say "best way to get pregnant is to lose a lot of weight!"
