WISH check in thread <> Week of April 25, 2004

I maintained this week but wasn't surprised as I had a bit of a slip up :o on Thursday night. :teeth: On to next week!! I'm so close to a new "decade" and hope to get there next week. ::yes::

I managed to get thru my first week without really cheating - I don't count one bite of the kids mac cheese in a week as cheating. I also started an exercise program that includes strength training - I already feel better -sore but better.

No loss for me again this week, sorry to say. But I've been exercising a lot more and hope to see a change soon.

I had a good week (I won't say 'great' as I was hungry enough to gnaw my arm off most of the week) I tracked my food and was down 2.8 lbs this week. Seeing as how I've lost nothing since January (shocking how not watching what I eat leads to no loss!) I am thrilled to be back on track. I'll be coming here more often too. I need all the support I can get.

Hope you all have a healthy week!

I'm down 1.5 pounds and have reached my second minigoal of losing 10% of my body weight or 25 pounds. Now it's on to my third minigoal of losing 10% or 22 pounds. Total of 53 pounds down since 12/1/03. Woohoo!!! :)

After two weeks of out of town business trips, making it hard to eat right, I'm down one pound in two weeks - yay! Better than a gain, which has happened before!

Still the same here..loss, plateau, loss, plateau...

I stayed the same also. But I did feel I ate too much this week - tried cashews as my "handful" snack, and ate the whole container! LOL! Won't buy those again! It was school vacation and it seemed there was just more food around.

I also haven't written in my Atkins Journal - and I really need to do that.

Good luck this week everyone!

I stayed the same :( Really want to break out of the rut of gain a few, lose a few. I need to feel motivated again and that just hasn't happened.

Its a new week and I'm back to journaling my points and I'm going to work hard at making sure I stay on plan and also get some exercise.

Down 1 lb which is great since I was sick. But I'm like many of you - I lose one week, stay the same the next. I guess I just have to consider the alternative, and tell myself that Maintaining is better than Gaining. Have a good week everyone!

Doesn't sound like anyone went off the deep end, so that is good. :D

Weighed myself and I gained a few pounds over the last couple of weeks. I hadn't weighed myself in a while.

My hormones are still trying to staighten themselves out. I'm sure they will soon. Hopefully it won't affect any losses this week.

DH started with me on Friday to get off a few pounds ( ) so that will make things easier.

Have a great week everyone! :sunny:

Pleased to report a 2.5 lb loss this week after last week's ZERO loss/gain.

Focus everyone! Onward and Downward! Drink that Water!! :drinking: :drinking: :drinking: :drinking:

:grouphug:

On my Friday, 4/23 visit to Curves I decided to weigh myself. Weigh-ins are usually only once/month, but I started watching my carbs, in addition to my Curves workout, and wanted to see how I've been doing. I was very surprised & relieved to see that I'd lost 5 pounds!!! I will now wait until my next weigh-in on May 7th to hopefully see that I will have lost atleast 10 pounds in the past month!!! :)

My home scale wasn't working & I threw it out. I'd like to purchase a digital scale for when I need to weigh myself on a weekly basis & then a daily basis once I meet my 140 pound goal (45 pounds to go!!)

Staying the same, maintaining - better than gaining, lol.

I lost one pound this week. I just hope I am finally going to get of this plateau. At least I'm not alone!:) Good luck this week everyone.

:cool1: :flower: Doin' the clippie dance! :flower: :cool1:

Yippee! Two pounds gone this week, which adds up to 91 pounds total - and time for a new clippie! Onederland is sooooo close, I can almost taste it. Even if I don't make it by 5/15 (goal date, right before vacation with my in-laws), I'll still be in Onederland very soon - never to leave again. Just six little pounds to go (4 to my next clippie), and the 100-pound clippie is less than 10 pounds away! I really can't believe I've come this far... I never thought it would happen. :goodvibes

This past week went pretty well. DH and I went camping over the weekend, which was a little challenging eating-wise, but I managed to eat reasonably for most of the weekend. Bringing a lot of veggies and fruit, while a pain to carry into the campsite, is worth it in the end. :p We went on a great hike, up and down hundreds of feet, and I never really got tired! That is such a HUGE change from just a year ago, when I would get tired walking up the slight hill to the bathroom. I love being a healthy, active person!

I've got a couple of challenges this week, two big celebratory dinners out at yummy restaurants. With the right mind set and game plan, I'm sure I can handle them. ::yes:: I may kick up my exercise a notch this week as well, just to make sure things keep moving onwards and downwards.

Have a wonderful week, everyone! :sunny:

Cool new clippie AprilN! :happy2:

As for me, I forgot if I posted last week so either I maintained or lost one;)
I'm now at 158 and pretty darned proud of it! My weight loss started in Sept. and hopefully my goal will be met close to there this year.
Good luck to everyone this week!:wave2:
