There are limited opportunities to find a 1920’s outfit. I want to know if several of us will all have the same outfits? What have you found? Where did you get yours? Amazon has several listed, did you get yours there? I realize low cost is going to mean poor construction. . It’s a trade-off that I accept.

My daughter and I are looking actually for a top only. We just don’t feel like wearing a form fitting dress on this trip.

Honestly I didn't pay close enough attention, I didn't see a ton in our seating but we had the earlier seating. I definitely saw more people dressed up for the later seating.

Most don't dress up. We did. I love to be thematic, but surely understand if someone doesn't. Don't fret about a 'repeat'. No one cares. You be you! ...and yes, Amazon.

You could try to find something at a thrift or antique shop. They might have the type of headband/hat that was worn in that time frame. We haven't sailed on the Wish, but this sounds like a fun idea.

Didn't know this was a thing. But if you want 1920s inspiration, have a look at Gabis_vintage on youtube. Her channel is dedicated to vintage outfits and she does have some on the 1920s. Also she does inspiration videos, meaning outfits that have a sort of vintage vibe with modern pieces.

I can't find the video now, but there is one where she compares what the outfits in the 1920s actually looked like vs. how Hollywood makes the 1920s look. Because those are different. An actual flapper dress from the 1920s was less extravagant than what Hollywood makes us believe it was.
I don't believe form fitting was the actual silhouette back then.

I hadn’t known it was a thing, but we did see families going to the second dinner dressed in period clothes. Yes they did seem similar. I thought they looked great!

We saw several groups dressed up and no one looked alike. We are all planning on dressing up in 1920s outfits on the treasure one night. Will most likely get dresses from Amazon or babe beyond, I’m not spending a ton of money on one.

If someone dresses like you, give them a smile and compliment - they must have good taste. 😉
I originally had visions of 300 women in 3 dresses in 4 colors. I was going to pick green because I figured everyone would pick black gold and red.
Now I’m going to throw in a few accessories with my black pants and an art deco top as soon as I find it!

I plan on theme dressing to an extent. No full flapper dress but I found a vintage looking shawl/caplet in the closet and grabbed some long pearls from my Christmas decorations lol. Bought a set of headbands on Amazon and will wear some Disney jewelry (Steamboat Willie brooch and "hand/ears" pin on headband). Will wear a black tank underneath the shawl and black capri pants.

Didn't see anyone dressed up in our two nights in 1923 on the 4 day cruise. In fact, to us, the restaurant was a major disappointment--it's chopped up in multiple small areas with the tables so close together you can barely walk between them. (Felt sorry for the servers trying to navigate through them) The food was meh--tough tasteless steak.

That is exactly my speed! I love the outfit and I need to find those headbands!

Did you have pirate night at least one of the two nights in 1923?
Having the restaurant chopped up in a smaller areas will be helpful for me. I frequently have to turn off my hearing aids when I go into a restaurant because a lady that is two tables away will be just as loud as the person who’s talking in front of me. Very hard to have conversation in the Tangled restaurants. It’s just about reading lips and those and most other restaurants. Although I don’t believe I’ll be bringing my wheelchair to the restaurant. I hope if I need to that I’ll be able to get it through.
I’m sorry the steak had no flavor. I was actually thinking that was going to be my meal there. The way imagine if I put my A1 sauce on it like I always do. I’m not gonna notice a difference.
Did you ever see the jokes on the side of an A1 sauce bottle? They’re pretty funny.

The only restaurant on DCL where I can hold a conversation is Palo. And I hear fine.

You can walk some, right? I’ve seen wheelchairs parked at side entrances (flat entry, no steps) or front doors of the restaurants. You are led to your table; they would certainly lend an arm to keep you stable.

Last cruise (Fantasy), all steak meals in MDR were bland. They tend to serve them with sauce - so why not A1 for a known taste?!
