The CM on my Keys tour said they call the building she's supposed to land on "Never-Ever Land" because she usually stops 20 feet short and has to scoot the rest of the way.
We just got back. I'm not sure how long the wire has been there but does anyone know why there is a wire coming from the top of the castle down to the front of the park? I asked a couple of CM's, one said it so Cinderalla can get cable in her room the other didn't know.

My friend told me that last time she watched Wishes, Tink got stuck around the halfway point and was just dangling in mid-air trying to scoot all the way down!
Tink needs to know which way to go, doesn't she? Thank goodness for the flight plan! I know we all would hate to see her fly into the fireworks instead of away from them o.o
However, there was this kid the last time I was at Wishes that was a little confused. See, he was was under the impression that Tink was using it for more then just a guide. I don't know why he thought that But he started screaming "It's a wire!!" at the top of his lungs.
And then his mom kicked him Look like she did it pretty hard too
Out of earshot of my daughter though, I will say that I also got the scoop from the CM on the Keys to the Kingdom tour about the "Tinkerbells" and how they are basically pushed out a window and land on a mattress at the end of their flight! They supposedly get a full day's pay for their flight because it's so dangerous!
We were told the same thing on our KTTK tour along with the fact that she is actually a tiny delicate blonde 80lb Romanian gymnast. Then I came back here to find someone had posted a picture of Tinker Bill.
Just for me it would be a GREEN area on the bridge from the Hub to fantasyland. Only the first few feet (until the "flight path") but for me it´s GREEN
During MNSSHP, we overheard a mother telling her older children that the wire was for Cinderella to fly down during the fireworks. Correct story, wrong flyer!
Her flying motion is designed to help get her down the entire cable because it gets pretty flat towards the end. Sometimes she does get stuck and then has to turn her lights off and pull herself down. Other times she may come in too fast and they stop her with a "mattress like device"
Apparently there is a VERY small weight window that she needs to fall in to do the flight, and it is always a woman (contrary to a popular internet photo). Wind conditions have to be just right as well. Very interesting!
On our KTTK tour we were told that Tink is a DUDE. The place where she takes off from is accessible only by climbing a wall and typically the guys have an easier time getting to it. So Tink...is a tiny man.

Yeah, I swear "she" is too whenever I get a good look at "her". My first post a few short weeks ago was on this very point. Robo might remember.... It doesn't matter, it's very cool either way.
