Ok, once again I've seen the cubes you guys are always talking about but I can never find them at Target!! I've seen cubes but they don't come with the shelves you all seem to have in your pictures of your scrapbook rooms. How do you get the shelves??
I really, really want some for my room.
Thanks!

They are sold as CUBES -
in a box 12X12X5 ish and heavy

but when you put them together you use 'zip ties' to attach some of the grids in as shelves... instead of useing them to make more cubes.
So that said a box of '6' cubes will make 2 actual cubes of 6 shelves for 12X12 paper!

I hope that made sense!

Oh, now I see! Gotcha!! Who was the smarty that figured that out?
The zip ties are those plastic thingies, right?
Thanks Patty!

happy to help -
another word of advise -
save the pieces or carboard from pads of 12X12 and put that on the botton of each shelf then put your paper on top of that -
It prevents the corners of the paper from getting caught in the squares and chewed up ;)

I've been trying to find these at Target - what department do they sell them in and approximately how much are they?

Thanks,
Linda

I have also seen these recently at Sam's Club for $15.99 (I think).

THey are with all of the office supplu stuff -
they range from 12.99 to 19.99 (sometimes they are on sale :)

Ok I have to admit that my paper supply is growing and it may not be long before I have to move past my present system.

I have a girlfriend with a system I love but since I'm not blessed with the HUGE antique roll top desk and credenza she has... :p

Well I'm wondering if you have to worry about papers fading or getting dusty in this system?

I tend to scrap in spurts - working on a particular album at a time and then going for several months without scrapping at all due to other commitments for instance.

Mine are in my room - out of direct sunlight - and I have stuff on the very top so dust isn't a real problem -

do you have a closet you make a scrap closet to put them in?

I plan to get some more of those craft keeper envelope thingies and start keeping mine in them. ( I will than put them on my target shelves ). My problem is that most of my regular card stock doesn't stay on the shelf long enough to worry about dust. My 81/2 by 11 paper is in accordian files in a drawer and my patterned paper is in a keepsake box.

AHGGHGHGHGGH! Ok, I'm better now. Just the mention of the closet in that room is enough to send me running and screamin. While I have taken over most of the room, :p the closet still belongs to DH. Housing most of his hunting stuff and well anyone ever hear of Fibber McGee's closet? Guess it was an old radio show and stuff cam crashing out all the time - my mom used the phrase whenever my room was getting too messy.

From the sounds of it, I think it was clean compared to this closet. So I guess that makes the answer no. :p

Hmmm....I am already using the plastic keeper envelopes so maybe I enlarge that system and get a bigger basket to arrange them in.

Thanks!
Deb
