Well after last winter (2014) this winter was a piece of cake!!! Until last weekend. We just had over 20 inches of snow, now an additional 3 to 4 inches today and then cold, only 1 degrees on Thursday. We have our trip planned for the end of March. I will be so ready, no matter how crowded it is.

It's a little chilly down here in the morning. In the 40's right now but hitting the 60's around noon lol

I hear ya! I'm in southeast Michigan and we leave in 3 days to head to Disney. We just got 18 inches of snow Sunday/Monday and now are suposed to get 2-5 more tonight with temps in the -5 to -15 range with wind chill.

I can totally handle 60 degrees with 40's at night! I can't wait to get away from all this white stuff!!! Friday can't come soon enough!

I'm in extreme SE Michigan and I hear you Angielynne only we won't be at WDW until summer.

We're in the greater Boston area...Got 2 feet last week, 14 plus inches yesterday and more coming Thursday and apparently Sun or Mon too! 4 snow days off from school/work in only a weeks time! I too will greet 40 degree temps cheerfully at this point (although 60 would be better) when we arrive a week from Sunday!

Another SE Michigander here ! We arrived home last year January 3, just in time to welcome the insanity that was last winter. I really wish we could go this year, but we have nice college tuition bills to look forward to for the next 12 years :scared:

You must be near Chicago, because I could have written your post word for word (except our planned trip is the beginning of April). Stay warm!

Same here in Jersey. We had green grass until last week now we have a foot on the ground.

Ah well, six more weeks and it will all be over. But still a lot more winter to go unfortunately!

yes just outside Chicago, and now a thaw this weekend so have to get up on the roof to remove some snow...You know the crowds at WDW sound just delightful!!

Minneapolis, MN. Mid 30's and hardly any snow. It's been an insanely pleasant Winter for MN! We dodged all the weather that went East. 16 days to Disney and we're hoping for swimming weather!

Here in upstate NY and I am beyond sick of this winter! My husband and I work outside and the long range forecast is showing next Friday as a high of 2 and a low of -15 with Sat. and Sun. both being in the double digit below zero's and that's air temp. not wind chills. Show me the global warming! I live in NY not ALASKA for gosh sakes. My son and I are heading to Disney on Feb. 22 but the darling hubby is staying home to run the farm. I know I wont want to come home. Oh and did I mention the weather men are calling for up to a foot of snow over the next two days.

I'm in Los Angeles and today is the coldest day we've had all week. High will only be 68 degrees. (Ducks to avoid snowballs thrown at her from the people who live in legitimately cold places.)

I never understand why people who live in warm climates feel a need to comment on winter threads, especially when people are dealing with dangerous situations right now in some parts of the country. :confused3

I live in Maine and we have been buried in snow for the last two weeks. At this point we can't even see past the snowbanks at the end of the roads we just have to inch out until we can see if anyone is coming or not. We are set to get another foot of snow by Monday morning.

I was trying to make a joke. I'm sorry if you feel that I was flippantly disregarding your safety. That was not my intention. Please accept my apology. In the future I'll try to remember that not everyone shares my sense of humor.

Over the last 2 weeks we have had storms dumping: 8", 33" 18" 6" and now we are expecting an additional 18"-24" from tonight into Tuesday. Like others our forecast high for Friday is 6 degrees with windchills well below zero, There is no where to put thr snow

I think the poster above you needs to 'chill' - no pun intended! I, too, live in a warmer climate down south (by choice) - no way could I take the cold and snow. I'm a born southerner and love the heat.

It was 'very' obvious that you were joking, but some people may 'dish is out' but can't take it. Wonder what she would say when we're experiencing summer heat and humidity, and she's not! Lots of people do that (just 'reverse' fun) and doesn't bother me in the least.
Enjoy your day - I am!!

And it continues.......Today starting out in the 20's but that will be the high.....its suppose to get down into single digits today and then tomorrow with the wind it will feel like -30degrees!!! and the sad part is I still feel fortunate watching how much snow Boston is getting. The end of March cannot come quickly enough so that we can feel some nice warm weather.

Yep, this winter has worn me down. First we had 7 feet of snow dumped on us over a 2 day period in November...now it's sub zero wind chills and snow piled so high it makes driving an adventure. Plus, almost every school day I am outside before the bus comes because I have to shovel my porch and sidewalks because it's the right thing to do for the neighborhood and because I don't want my kids getting soaked in snow before they get on the bus...Bring on the Spring :)

Oh yes, more is on it's way today for us in the Boston area...we were supposed to fly out tomorrow midday, in the midst of another blizzard. We were able to get that changed somehow miraculously (stalking SWest continually for cancellations!) and are hoping we will get out on our new flight at noon today. Wish us luck...Disney is currently fully booked unless I wanted to pay $600 and up for one night or get a campsite, so we are staying near the airport tonight and will catch the ME in the morning. Will keep checking for a room at Disney until our departure at least. Safe travels to all who are heading to Disney this President's week/school vacation!
