Well today three pins I bought on ebay for myself (and one I got as a stocking filler for DH) arrived, so that really put me in the pin exchanging mood!

The first two I got as treats the other month when I needed a little cheering up one day and the third I got as a treat when I found out I got my new job

Sorry for the big piccies, just wanted to share. Everytime the pin exchange comes up I say I'll take photos of my collection but never do. I'll try to get on that this time if anyone wants to see I collect mainly Lilo & Stitch as you might be able to tell (esp. love when Lilo is on there not just Stitch) also Alice in Wonderland pins are another main colllection.

Melissa, those first 2 are just so darn cute!! I love Stitch and Alice in Wonderland pins too.

I have to share some of the ones I bought right after our trip in early September when I went a little pin crazy. I then managed to get upset that I spent money I did not need to be spending on pins and stopped buying..

This pin exchange will hopefully get my pin spirits back up..but not make me go back to ebay..haha... not YET anyways!

Anyways, here are some of the ones I was lucky enough to get...

and I got these from Disney Shopping that I love...

See why I was upset with myself for buying so much?? I really went into pin overload for a couple weeks there. I had to stop!

Rofl Amanda you certainly did go pin-crazy - but.... look at all the great pins you got at the end of it I am esp. jealous of the 3D Alice one (I've been eyeing that one up but it looks a little big?) and the final one of Stitch as the Cheshire cat. One of my all time "pinloves" are ones of Lilo and Stitch as other characters and a few other characters dressed up also for example when looking on pinpics earlier I discovered there is one as Minnie mouse dressed as Lilo - I MUST have this one

Yay for the pin exchange! and indeed, pins in general.

That 3d Alice one is a little on the bulky side.. not something you would put on a lanyard or in a book by any means. The cool think about it is it just sits up on its own so you can display it like a little trinket..lol

I agree, yeah for the pin exchange! Gotta love Nancy for being so nice as to do this for us pin nuts. Ethan is even all excited about it. I am almost wishing I had put him down for 2 exchanges but I won't spoil him too much this close to Christmas. That child just loves pins. I am raising him right!

I really love characters dressed as other characters too. I need to go and check out that Minnie you mentioned. I bet that is very cool!

Another question, how exactly do you match up the traders? I see that we have to list our likes & dislikes to find out what we'd like to receive, but we don't list what types of pins we have to trade away. Just curious. Thanks.

It is by random draw.
And the list of likes is just for a guide. You can send whatever you want. They can always trade them away next time or at the parks if they don't want them.

Gaspode, those Lilo & Stitch pins are adorable! My DGS9 would go absolutely crazy over those. I took him with me to the World in August and he did all the trading. What else could a Grandma do? I think I only made one or two trades myself and gave him all the rest of my traders so he could trade because it seemed every CM lanyard had a Stitch on it that he didn't have! I was SO happy he got to go with me (his first time since he was 2 years old) and so happy that he was so excited about pin trading. It was pure pleasure watching him. The CMs would laugh because he would get so excited about the Stitch pins. I have created a pin monster.

If anyone has a wants list on pinpics you should post it. It would be great if we helped you with a pin you were in search of.

Ethan and I are excited. Landon does not get it yet but I still love having pins to put up JUST for him so I can't resist joining him in.

As for doing Ethan for 2.. I was thinking about it and today I asked him if he wanted to trade 2 pins or 4 pins and he "I think 2"! Guess he likes his pin huh?

I know how he feels. I like all mine too
I buy separate ones to trade.....doubles, etc.
