Wine tasting?????

For the seven day western, doesn anyone know what days the wine tastings are offered on, as well as the time and how to register?

I can't tell you exactly, but on the Eastern it was offered twice, both during at sea days. I would imagine the Western is similar.

It was $12 (I think) and you can sign up at guest services when you board. I want to think it took place around 1:00pm. It was lots of fun, and something I think I'll probably do again.

Western is offered on days at sea. We did it on the same day as afternoon tea. It was over about 15 minutes before tea was scheduled to start.

I've done the wine tasting on both the Magic and the Wonder. We were in Palo on the Wonder and Sessions on the Magic. I had a chance to compare them because we did back to back cruises (with a few days between on land). I thought that they did a MUCH more thorough job on the Wonder. I do have to say that I learned lots more there. The pamphlet you were given was the same and so were the number of wines but they cast just went thru the entire pamphlet with us on the Wonder and on the Magic we were told to read it thru ourselves. Perhaps this was because the class had about 10 more people in it, I'm not sure. Ww had a chance to ask questions, but people didn't. We each got a pin at the end of each class and curiously, they were slightly different between the ships. I enjoyed both classes but after having been in a much more thorough one on the Wonder, I was disappointed on the Magic, a class I did with my husband. I was explaining all the terminology that we went through together on the Wonder to him during class. Would I do it again? Yes I would, all things considered. I believe our cost was $15.

Last week it was on both sea days on the Western. I recommend that you book this early as the first day it was sold out. $12
