Has anyone had the WOC dinner at WCT? We were thinking about trying it on our next trip. Is it worth the money to eat there and how did you like the food?? If you have any pictures to share we'd appreciate that too! :confused3

We have a few times. It's lovely to time it so the Pixar Play parade goes by while dining *IMO* my kids like it there too.

DH and I ate there for dinner a few years ago, before WOC. We were there for an anniversary and got a little dressed up. We were seated right next to a big extended family with lots of small kids. Needless to say it wasn't very romantic. We probably should have asked to sit somewhere else. The food wasn't bad, a little better than Olive Garden.

I did a solo dine there back in August and it was very good and I loved the atmosphere.

My DS and DD and I did the WOC dinner in Oct. 2011 and we all loved it. We are going back to DL in Sept. and my DS requested that we do it again. We are all looking forward to it. And I don't agree that it is an overpriced Olive Garden.

We have eaten on the patio for lunch. We have a DD9 and DD11. We really liked it. I have seen it get some mixed reviews - but I would say it is a lot better than an Olive Garden. My DH is half Italian and he begrudgingly will go to a chain Italian place if we are meeting friends. You would think I was serving his mom sauce from a jar (I don't think my DH has ever opened a jar of sauce - he makes a mean homemade one).

He really like the Wine County Trattoria.

Curious - I had a CM tell me last week that he didn't think they were going to offer the dining/WOC package at this restaurant any longer. Is this true?

I did not pursue this with the CM since I was too far away from making dining plans yet anyway. But I'm really curious.

??

I'm calling to make all my dining reservations tomorrow. I am so glad that I went on Dis tonight. This is a BRILLIANT idea. :thumbsup2 We have plans to eat at the WCT for the WOC package. So thank you soooo much for the great idea.

Momsquad, as far as I know they are still offering it. We booked reservations for the WOC/dinner package and the CM I spoke to told us what time we could eat for the 1st showing. (She said between 4 and 7pm) She said we would get our passes for WOC after we finished dinner.

It is my understanding that they will continue to offer the package. They no longer offer WOC for Ariel's Grotto it has moved to Carthay Circle.

Dramamama, I didn't say it was overpriced Olive Garden. I said the food was better than Olive Garden. Just sayin'. :)

Excellent news! I believe my little group would like to do this also when we go in October. Sounds like a good meal and nice package. Thanks for the info everyone!
