could some one possible explain it to me. DH and myself enjoy a nice glass of wine with our meals so i am thinking of adding it to our meal plan but I am very confused; do i get a bottle of wine or a glass of wine maybe it's me but the brochure is confusing.

TIA

The wine and dine add-on costs $40 per night per reservation, NOT per person. So you'd be paying an extra $40 for every night you stay.

For that, you will receive "wine credits" based on how many nights you stay (if you stay 7 nights, you receive 7 wine credits). The credits are redeemable for a bottle of wine at any participating restaurant. In general, wines priced under $50 per bottle cost one wine credit, and wines priced between $50 and $100 cost 2 wine credits. Wines costing more than $100 per bottle are not included.

If you don't finish the bottle you can take what is left with you (you will not be permitted to carry a bottle of wine into a theme park, whether it's open or closed, as they don't allow glass containers, so if you are planning to attend a park after your meal you will have to finish the wine.)

Wines we can purchase at home in the liquor section of our grocery store are priced 2 1/2X more at WDW, so don't expect huge value in the wine selection ;)

We recently had a bottle of wine at Yachtsman Steakhouse that was $63, but we have Tables in Wonderland, so it worked out to be $50.40. Had we used wine credits for it, that same bottle would have cost $80 (2 credits at $40 each). Really watch the pricing if you plan to go with the wine plan! FWIW, we never get the dining plan. ;)
