Fuel and fluids...
I did 15 miles Sat. and fueled with a gel, then a Honey Stinger waffle, another gel, and 1/2 an Uncrustable and ate the other half immediately after finishing. It worked beautifully!
Hydration... I'll just say that in addition to "how much?" being an individual thing, it's also a weather/climate thing. It's still freaking summer down here in FL and I lost a whopping (and frightening) almost 10% of my body weight to sweat on a long run last month. I felt like total garbage for almost 2 weeks after, so I've been upping my fluid intake since. For 15 miles I went through around 16oz of water and Nuun before, 50+ ounces of Nuun during, and downed another 16oz of Gatorade and chocolate milk immediately after. It was just enough and I probably could have comfortably even thrown in another 6-8oz during the run, but I was sick to death of warm Nuun. Now on a cool day in winter, I'll barely break a sweat and won't need more than maybe 10-15oz total for a half, and that's mostly to wash down fuel.
