I have no idea what's actually wrong with it. Most likely it's some kind of tendonitis--pain starting in the big toe joint that radiates across the top of my foot to my ankle. It's one of those things that doesn't bother me at all unless I try to run, and then it aches for a day or two. I'll probably try a short run this weekend and see how it goes after 2 weeks off. I would definitely be up for a meetup some time.![]()
Extensor Hallicus Longus Tendonitis or Tenosynovitis maybe? Do you have tight calves or flat feet?
Yep, I have flat feet.
Me too. Rough. May be time for new running sneakers? Or orthotics in your sneakers?
I've been busy this morning...I got my MVMCP tickets, booked our flights, and made a car rental reservation.
Now to start planning the days. We haven't been back in a few years, not since FP+ started.
Wish we had the airfare booked. We are waiting for Southwest to release their November flights. As long as the non stop stays the same, we will fly with them and get a 5 day ticket. If their schedules change then we will probably fly Delta and only need a 4 day, because we will have to leave early on Sunday.
We have limited experience with FP+. We were there in the testing phase before they added the Tiers to HS. We had tiered at EPCOT but it didn't really effect us because my MIL is a GM employee and we got to ride TT through the employee lounge and get FP from there. We will book some, but not sure how much because I doubt we are going to ride many rides without having the kids with us. Good thing we have 4 months to figure that part out. Only 30 days to figure out our dining though!
I'm waiting on Southwest, too. They're the only airline that consistently has nonstop flights to MCO for us, and are usually the cheapest I can find. I know it's super early to book flights, but I like knowing my plans are set (and paid for!).Wish we had the airfare booked. We are waiting for Southwest to release their November flights. I only plan on two maybe three for dining and nothing like Be our Guest (did it about three months after it opened and wasn't that impressed with the food). haha
@cindy21494 What did you have at Be Our Guest? That's number one on our list of ADRs to make. We're going to try to get in on the night of the MVMCP. Not sure how the party will impact ressies for that night. Any thoughts?
Well this was about two years ago and they had just opened. Not sure if it has changed much. I had the Grilled Strip Steak with garlic-herb butter and pommes frites, DH had the Layered Ratatouille, and DD had the Thyme-scented Pork Rack Chop. I forget what our youngest DD had. For what we paid, I didn't think the food was worth it. I might try lunch just to see the inside again...that was beautiful!
We've never done the party before, so I'm not sure how that will impact things. It might be in your favor though because there are less people in the park for the party than a normal night I would think. Like I said though we went not long after it opened. I hope my not being impressed doesn't keep you for trying it. It is a beautiful restaurant!
Honestly I'm not the one who's super excited for Be Our Guest. That would be the BFF and her hubby. I'm always willing to pay for good food though, so I was hoping the quality would be there. Too bad you weren't overly impressed. I'm thinking of ordering the sauteed shrimp and scallops...the pics online look yummy.
