Wine and Dine 2015

I'm paranoid about that part of it. I went through so quickly that I hope I checked all the right boxes. Just as an example, on my confirmation form, it says I selected that I'll be participating individually in a general division (or something like that). Was that the right one to click? Lol
I'm super paranoid too and I can't get at my registration to confirm what I entered! I opened up a ticket with Active.com but I'm guessing it will be a little while before they get back to me.

Any predictions on how fast the after party will sell out? My husband will need a ticket!
I would buy it now, just to be safe. It WILL sell out, and unlike race registrations, you CAN give it to someone else--so just in case plans fall through and your husband isn't able to go, you can give it to another friend to go with you, or you shouldn't have a problem finding a buyer. The party ticket is just one of those hard plastic cards (like a gift card) and doesn't have a name on it or anything.

I will definitely be down for a meet-up or two

Just give it time. Registration day is probably the worst day to contact them regarding questions.

We should definitely try and plan some before people can start making ADR's, and FP selections and whatnot. Gotta plan around them lol. Right now all I know that we are doing is eating and drinking around Epcot on Sunday, lol. Everything else so far is a free-for-all since I am clueless with planning a WDW trip.

Replying to my own post--
Sorry, I just looked and saw they don't go on sale 'till March 31...but yeah, I would try and buy it asap when they do go on sale. With all the people who were able to get one person registered, but not their friend/spouse/etc. there are bound to be a lot of people needing party tickets.

Just wanna say a quick thanks for the info and link on this thread. Got hubby and I registered for our first Disney race (he has run over 50 marathons, I've run a handful and a few 10k). We've had disappointments in the past with big city marathons, very happy we were registered for this upcoming w&d. See everyone in November!

So I guess I am one of the lucky ones that got in today. I just kept refreshing my computer from about 11:50 and at 11:58 I was able to get in. However, I keep reading about people waiting in queue. Are they talking about on a phone or on the computer? This is my 4th RunDisney race and I've never had that experience on the computer. I'm just worried now about trying to get 3 people in for the princess!

On the computer... it sounded like runDisney may have had a virtual queue for people who went to the Register link from the runDisney site rather than directly to Active.com. Sort of like a lot of concert or sporting ticket sites have.

I wish we were staying a few days after the race so we could eat and drink around Epcot too!! Have to leave on Sunday and be back to work Monday thou.. Boooo. BF and I went to Disney last year so I have a pretty good handle on planning!! Ask if you have questions! Can't wait until we can make ADR's & FP.

I went directly from the Run Disney site and got in right away. Like Nicole, I got on the computer several minutes before noon and just kept refreshing until it told me registration was open. No problems registering at all :)

Is it just my imagination, or are there WAY more people saying they were able to get part of their group in, but not the others, than any other race registration? I don't remember hearing so much of that at registration for other races.

Not getting everyone in a group in is to be expected more and more as the races sell out faster and faster. If you're doing them one at a time you're going to hit that point when it gets capped. Always best to try and have everyone register for themselves, or multiple people in any case.

I would be so full of nerves if I was responsible for registering more than just myself!

I think tentatively we were looking at doing MK the 6th, DHS the morning of the 7th and then relaxing, Epcot the 8th, and then most likely MK again on the 9th. It's not really a "see as much as we can trip" but we have some friends who left us at DLR to go back to WDW that we have to see.

We are flying in on Thursday the 5th. Probably doing EPCOT that day and Friday. Planning on booking Boma for dinner one of those 2 nights. Taking it easy Saturday morning, might hit HS or AK that day, head back for a nap and get ready for racetime. Unfortunately we will have to fly home Sunday. Going to be tough to not over indulge on F&W festival over those 2 days. Running could be an experience Saturday night.
