Safe travels everyone! Reading about all y'all sitting at the airport and those on their way has me nervous. I'm out the door at 2pm. Flight is set for 5. And I was one of the ones who had a near miss on the stairs as well. Stocking feet and carrying a suitcase (carry on) down the stairs don't mix. Esp not when your house is hardwood.

No worries! Crisis avoided. Next stop? Bradley international en route to MCO.

Just a few morning conf calls and then off to airport - plane leaves just after noon and gets us there around 11 pm tonight. Decided to rent a car as we're at AKV which isn't a host resort so we can get to expo, JJ5k and half. Just for extra level of craziness, doing Very Merry Xmas Sunday night til midnight and then catching 6am flight Monday back to CA. Sleep is SO over rated!

Enjoy the drive, I am oddly going to miss the boredom of 75S this trip. I will certainly miss the excitement building as I hit the FL Turnpike. I got such a great price on a flight/hotel I am heading out tomorrow morning.

My fiance and friend know they will have to gate check before I will! We planned the back of the plane for Jetblue since we know it boards first. I'll let them know that it has very important items in it and I can not take the chance of it getting lost.

Oh well. Not worrying about the weather. We get wet, we get wet. Personally I am not worrying about the heat either. This is what I train in down here in South Florida. As had been said many times before, those that are not used to our heat, take it very easy.

I did a search, but couldn't find a clear answer. Does anyone know if family and friends only attending the Finish Line party can enter the party and get their wrist band at the International Gateway entrance? We've only entered from the front of the park the last few years. Thank you!
