We too had rain everyday but two while at The World. When it did rain, it usually lasted no more than 20 minutes, typical Florida summer showers.

We arrived early Saturday morning and The Swan had a room ready for us. We were in our room by 9:30!!! After a little rest we went to Downtown Disney, Then for a ride around The Seven Seas Lagoon on the monorail. We took a look around the monorail resorts and ate dinner at the Poly. Then watched the fireworks from the beach at the Poly and went back to our hotel to rest up for the big week ahead of us.

Sunday we went to MGM. It was pretty crowded due to Star Wars weekends, but we got to do everything we wanted to. We even made it to the Indiana Jones show, that's the first time we've seen it (pretty cool). We left before Fantasmic to have dinner at Rainforest Cafe (our Disney trip tradition).

Monday we went to Epcot, Future world was crowded, but the World Showcase was tolerable. We ate at the German Biergarten. Wow!!! That was the best meal we've ever had at Epcot. Haven't tried Italy yet though (maybe next time).

Tuesday was the Magic Kingdom. The crowds here were present, but not too terrible. We left early afternoon to change hotels. We drove down the block to The Dolphin (a surprise to DW, she thought we were changing to a cheaper hotel off property). Then headed back to finish the rides we didn't get to do before the park closed for E-ride. E-ride was cool; I wish it was 4 hours instead of 3 though. Riding the Haunted Mansion after dark is really conducive to the effect.

Wednesday we went to Sea World (free tix). Saw Shamu and the Dolphin show. We left around 3 or 4 and though we were going to be stranded in the parking lot. Our car wouldn't start, but after babying it for a few minutes it finally turned over (still don't really know what happened to it). We headed back to Downtown Disney for some wood fired pizza at Wolfgang Puck's.

Thursday we explored Animal Kingdom (why is this place always so hot?). Anyway, we did the Kilamanjaro Safari, rode Primeval Whirl and Dinosaur. We had lunch at Rainforest again (tradition remember); we watched the parade and took off. That night we had PS's for The Hoop Dee Doo Revue. This thing is worth the money! Probably the best fried chicken I've had in a while, B-BQ ribs, baked beans and corn, and strawberry shortcake for dessert. Not to mention the show is pretty awesome too. Oh yeah, all you can drink too, including beer and sangria!!!

Friday was our last day in the parks. We went to MGM in the morning to ride the staples; Tower of Terror and Rockin' Roller Coaster, then lunch at the Sci-Fi Dine In. Afternoon we went over to Magic Kingdom one last time. There it was Space Mountain, Buzz Lightyear, TTA, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Haunted Mansion. Evening was Epcot for one last spin through Spaceship Earth. We also ran through the World Showcase, literally, we made it from Mexico to the UK in 15 minutes so we could make it to the boats before Illuminations was over.

Saturday we ate breakfast ate The Whispering Canyon Cafe at Wilderness Lodge (which seems to becoming a tradition too). Then we went back to Downtown Disney yet again to pick up some last minute souvenirs and started the long trek home.

We got one of those Pal Mickey's too. He was cool, a little chatty at times, but a neat way to explore the parks for someone who’s been before and is always looking for that little something extra.
