Windsor Palms or Windsor Hills??

Has anyone stayed at either of these? I am looking at a package with staying there and wanted to know anything you can tell me?? It looks really nice by the pictures, but I have also been fooled by pictures before. For $2192 we get 5 day park hopper Magic Your Way tickets for all six of us and the condo. It sounds good, but just wanted to hear any experiences you may have had. Thanks!!!

I stayed in windsor palms a few years ago and will be staying in windsor hills in May. We enjoyed Windsor Palms very much. There is only one thing you might need to know. If you are not on a ground floor, you might be carrying your bags up 2 or 3 flights of stairs. The building we were in had no elevators and we were on the top floor. Guess I needed the exercise but at the end of the day it sure wore me out.

We just got back from Windsor Hills and loved it, we've already reserved the same townhouse for next year. They have a great pool etc. The pictures of Windsor Hills are right on!

We stayed in Windsor Palms back in 2003 and really enjoyed it. We're trying Windsor Hills this year, in July, and have read so many great reports that we are really excited to try it for ourselves.

Can I ask what sort of package are you getting? Windsor Palms, Windsor Hills, etc. are typically all private owner condos and villas. Is an owner or a management company offering you a combined deal that includes tickets? I have never seen that before so I was just curious.

We stayed in two different pool homes, not a condo at WP but we loved the location and the resort itself. Our experience has been positive with our units being a great match to the website tours. You can always ask the owner how old their pictures or tour are that are shown.

I used the wdwpackages.com website to get that quote. We used them last year when we went, and it was very easy and no problems. You pick how many days, what you are wanting ticket wise, and they give you a whole list of places to chose from to stay. I liked the pictures they have of Windsor Palms & Hills, so thought I would get any input from anyone who might have stayed there. It is a management company then I guess you would say that is handling it. I have been looking at both condo only then purchasing the tickets seperate and this way. With the six of us, I just want to make sure I get the best deal possible. Yesterday, I used the VRBO website, to try that way, but didnt get through alot yet. But thank you for all the information, it helps alot!!

One other option to try since you are considering Windsor Hills is to use www.windsorhillsrent.com . Plug in your dates and select condo or townhouses and you will get quite a few responses back from owners who have units available.

It's a good way to gauge prices and you can deduct the price of just tickets from your current quote and see if the lodging portion is stil the best value.

We are staying at WH in July in a pool home but quite a few posters here have stayed there recently and really enjoyed it. I think both Windsor Palms and Windsor Hills would work for you and I don't think you would be disappointed with either one.

Thank you so much!!! I am going to look into that today. Yesterday, I spent looking at just ticket only prices to see what the best deal I could get that way was. I am waiting for the 15th of the month to get my mousesavers newsletter to see the link for members only to see what the discount for tickets are that way. I thought I had signed up for that before, but I guess not. Thanks again for the advice!!! You know, it is funny. We are leaving for Florida next week to go for a wedding, and I am more excited planning this trip that isnt until July, than I am that one!!
