I don't know if this is the specific name of the condo itself or the name of a condo "complex." This owner has a short-notice availability on this condo (Easter). However, there aren't too many photos on their site for it and the ones that I do see are kind of so-so. There are no pictures of the bathroom or kitchen.

Any ideas how old this property might be based on the neighborhood?

Thanks.

That would be the name of their individual condo within Windsor Palms.

The place might be ok, what you've just stumbled upon though is why they might not be booked (poor marketing, poor pictures).

One suggestion, call or email the owner now (I would call at this late date), let them know you're interested, and ask them if they have any other website pictures, or pictures of the home they can perhaps email you (often times people do!).

That is definitely a name of a condo.

I found very few references to that home, and the ones I found were on fairly obscure websites in terms of good places to market your home. I agree with George that it seems to be poorly marketed.

One website I saw referred to Donna Sticht as the owner, but a search on the Osceola County Property Records did not bring up anyone called Sticht owning property anywhere in Kissimmee. I searched for Donna Sticht online and found that name referred to as an owner/partner/employee of a management company which has been operating since 2005. I personally would want to know more about the home / owner etc before renting. Do your due dilligence. Things may be OK, but I would certainly suggest you look into things further. :confused3

We own a home on Windsor Palms, but have never heard of either that condo name or owner (however with the number of homes on WP, I can't be expected to know everyone :)

The homes (and I am including condo's and townhome in this category) on Windsor Palms were completed by 2003. I can't remember if all the condo's were completed when we closed on our home at the end of 2002, but I think they were. The community was completed and transitioned to the control of the homeowners (as opposed to the builders) in 2003.

A well maintained home should not show its age (and I don't consider WP old), but with guests in and out on a weekly basis, maintenance is important - a home has to be kept in top condition.

Do call the owner, ask for more photos, a vitual tour etc.

What dates were you looking for, perhaps I can check to see if anyone I know has availability for you.

Keep in mind...I do know of that one home that still has an opening in WHR from 4/7-4/12 if you can come 1 day later...or find a place to stay in the first night!

Thanks so much for your input.

Kay--I have sent an e-mail back to Donna Stricht (that's the name I got too) and asked for more info on the condo. IMHO, the pictures that were on the web of this property, while they didn't look bad, were probably the least attractive that I've seen. Also, with no pictures of the kitchen or bathrooms, I'm a little wary.

5mins2disney--thanks for your offer. I've actually had some good luck today and have an "almost" booking that will probably be 100% tonight. It is in Terra Grande. The maintenance person was extremely helpful and very honest about the place. She isn't able to send me photos until tonight but she did not want me to book until I saw the photos first. So, I think that's a good sign.

On top off all that, I've got MANY offers today on places in Vista Cay. They seem to be pricier than anyone. But it's good to know that I have some options.

I agree, the condo does seem to be very basic in decor...

Where is Terra Grande? I have heard of Terra Verde, but not Terra Grande...

Glad that you seem to be getting options. Have a great time :woohoo:

Gosh, I'm sorry. It's Terra Verde! I think I've been looking at too many condos. I'm getting delirious!

Oh good! I was hoping that with Vista Cay being brand new there might be something open there. Pulte sold homeowners on the fact that they're going to be able to rent to all of the people going to the convention center (which is next door). It'll be interesting to see if it works...most conventioneers don't rent private homes, corporate business travelers tend to rent hotel rooms of course.

If you are still not sorted, JD vacation villas have a couple pf 4 bedroom townhomes on EI still available for Easter. www.jdvacationvillas.com - no affiliation with the site except I know of the owner from being an owner at Emerald Island and they are good people.
