When staying @ WH, are there any issues with using Uber/Lyft? Any recent experiences? Can they get through the gate, or do you have to meet them outside of the get when picking you up? Any preference of one over the other in that area/Orlando (Uber vs. Lyft)?

Both work well. The driver will have to provide an address inside the resort for pickup and will have to provide his/her driver's license which may take longer for them to pick you up. We have just met the driver at the front gate to make the pickup go more smoothly.

Can they take you inside the park gates or inside Caribbean Beach? We were thinking of ubering to CB and taking the skyliner.

They can take you into regular park parking lots, but not any earlier than anyone else driving in the morning. The "official" policy to enter a resort is that you need an ADR, although that seems to be hit or miss (i.e. I wouldn't bank on it, as some are getting asked for proof). Others have also reported being let into a resort with a Mobile Order to the resort.
