Hi I think I've narrowed it down to Windsor Hills for our next trip. My eyes hurt from endless internet searches.

There are 7 of us - Me, DH, DS-10, DD-8, DD-6 and my mom and dad.

We are treating mom and dad, so we are trying to keep the cost down just a bit. I love the idea of a whole villa, but there are not many 4 bedroom ones and the 5 bedroom ones are a bit steep.

I found one for rent by a Marion Purcell for rent for about $1250 including tax in May. There are not a lot of pictures of the place, but the price is right. Does any one have any info on this place....or another?

Also, I've looked at the 3 bedroom townhomes. they aren't huge for seven us, but they are more affordable. Any thoughts?

We are at Windsor Hills right now! :) Our 3 year old is napping and then back to the parks. We are renting a 3 bedroom townhouse and this whole community is awesome the pool area is great and very kid friendly, it gradually slopes in and the deepest part is 4'10. Also great water slide. They have a theater that they play movies in and you can request for a movie to play. Also have a playground. The location is awesome and it took us about 5 minutes max to get to AK and 7-9 minutes to get to MK. Also if you glance around VRBO.com and type in Windsor Hills there are a lot of places to rent and also just some great pictures so you get the idea of what is here. :)

Wow! That was fast.

Thanks, Angela.

The resort sounds great. Do you think it would accommodate seven pretty comfortably, or would we need more space?

:thumbsup2 Thanks for the good feedback we're staying in a windsor hilld TH in sept. Hope you're having a great time :sunny:

For mommyintn: We will be at Windsor Hills in one week!!! Staying in a condo there...on Comrow Street? Was it any trouble getting the access card for the pool? It is the first time we have ever rented, so I am a bit nervous. I finally got my keycode and such yesterday after I begged! (The guy said he wasn't going to send it yet for security reasons, which I felt kind of weird about--I mean, I HAD already sent him all the money and I felt I deserved something since I did that! KWIM? Anyway...is it all as nice as it looks? What is the weather like??? Anything else we need to know? OH---WHAT landmarks are around the road you t urn off on 192 to get to WH? I HATE being lost! lol...THANKS! Hope your trip is going well! EDITED TO ADD: Also, the community pool--what are the rules on kids and things like swimmies. Are they allowed to use them? What about on the water slide. We will, of course, always be with the kids, but I feel better having my younger ones wear those too. If they aren't allowable, how about life vests? TIA!

No problem getting an access card you just go to the sales office which is right outside of the pool area and you tell them the address of where you are staying and your date of departure. Also need $6 which you get back when you return the card. The weather has been pretty hot with yesterday being the coolest in the low 70's, I just saw the weather next week will be high 70's and low 80's so it will be nice when you are here. I will look to see what is on the corner of Old Lake Wilson Rd., we've been taking back roads to Sherberth road to get to Disney (our owner gave these to us, let me know if you need them!). Today is our last day at the parks, Magic Kingdom here we come!

Mo-Yo the 3 bedroom condo we are in I think would accomodate your family, upstairs are 2 bedrooms one with a king size and the other with bunks (with a full on the bottom, your girls could share?) and then a queen size bedroom and bath downstairs (for your parents). I think you could do it especially if they had the bunks in the second room upstairs. :)

Angela,

That does soound like that would work. Would you pm me the details/contact person when you get a chance?

Have fun today. I wish we were there now.

Maureen
