Windows Phones & Disney Expedition

We are going in January and my husband and I both have Windows phones - I have the Disney Expedition app already. I need to get up to speed as I was unaware you could link your tickets and change Fastpasses on this app!?
My son has a Kindle (android) - but, the Google play download is unavailable on that as well. Is that true?

Anyone use this lately?

For the Windows app Disney Expedition, it's good for checking wait times and viewing your FPs. I think I did change one FP time, but wasn't comfortable trying more on it. We brought a laptop so I tended to use that back in the hotel when needed (for any change to plans next day).
