The movie is not anywhere near as good as the book. That's one reason you should always read the book first. It seems everyone over 20 was disappointed in the movie, at least the ones I've talked to. The younger girls seem to love the movie. My 25 year old nephew and my 13 year old nephew saw it in the theaters. They went because it was a vampire movie. They hated it!

okay...note that i haven't seen the movies, but was addicted to the books like crack! i basically OD'd on them. I read all in less than 3 weeks! talk about sleepless nights!!

BUT I WAS SO FOR JACOB. although...edward's character in the book sent me into hysterias at times! ;o)

I saw pics of the person they were casting for Esme, is she the same actress that played the faceless / crazy chick on grey's anatomy??

Yes, same actress. I didn't like her on Grey's Anatomy. That's probably why I don't think she should play Esme, even though Esme wasn't in the first book much.
