Will you be ashamed...

Confession time (but only to you guys and my DH)

Right now
Mon - Apprentice
Tue - work late so DH tapes American Idol for me to watch when I get home
Wed - American Idol then whatever's on Bravo or HGTV
Thur - Survivor
Fri - date night w/ dh
Sat - used to be Trading Spaces but it's gotten old
Sun - Sopranos & Food Network's Next Cooking Star

At various times, I've watched many of the other reality shows including Amazing Race and Project Runway (one of my favorites). Sometimes I watch by the network - Bravo, HGTV, Animal Planet & the Food Network are my favorites.

I also read for escape - mysteries, sci-fi & fantasy, and the occasional "bodice ripper"!

Vanyel - I so agree about Trading Spaces. It used to be so much fun, I just don't know what happened. Maybe they need to let Hildi do more episodes!

I even fall asleep to Nick at Night... Reruns of Roseanne, Fresh Prince, Cosby, Mad About You.
OMG! I thought I was the only person to do this!! I even set the timer on my TV in the bedroom for 30 minutes because I know I will fall asleep!! LOL I do love Mad About You!! One of my favorite reruns!

I go to bed w/ Nick at Nite too!!!

I love those shows...takes me back to when life didn't have the worries of packing lunches, homework complete...back when I thought I was the only person the world revolved around!!! Now my world revolves around my beautiful babies!!!!!

Just read my tag and you'll see how obssesed I am. We have two tivo's at my house and I'm fretting over Wednesday this week since I have to be out of the house and Alias, One Tree Hill and Bones are all on at 8. Ahhh.

Heres my list

Sunday: Charmed, Desperate Housewives, So NoTORIous
Monday: Prison Break, 24, How I met Your Mother, CSI:Miami
Tuesday: Veronica Mars, Nip/Tuck(when its on)
Wednesday: One Tree Hill, Bones, Alias, Lost, CSI:NY
Thursday: Supernatural, CSI, Without a Trace (I just dropped ER and The OC this year they just weren't holding my attention)
Friday: Las Vegas, Numbers

Then lets see when they are on I also Tivo Entourage, Big Brother, Rock Star:???, and my DH Tivos the World Poker Series.

I also Tivo the mindless General Hospital.

Yes we have no children yet and yes I am addicted to the TV.

OMG you all are pathetic! :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Oh shoot, I guess I posted here too! Okay, we are all pathetic! :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

PS. I have three TIVO's, One for my kids, one for my DH and 40 hours of TIVO just for me! :teeth:

We are building a new house and I will be getting the third Tivo once we move in. LOL My DH says even with all that we have he still can't find anything to watch so I need to record mroe show for him. The nerve. LOL

I am glad to see that there are others that are just as obsessed with their TV shows!

DH and I have quite a list (although he will deny any knowledge)

Tuesday: Never miss TV Gilmore Girls and Law & Order SVU
New addition Pepper Dennis

Wednesday: Alias is back! :cool1:  :cool1:
One Tree Hill
The Bedford Diaries
Law & Order
Thursday: BIG TV Night
The O.C. (starting to jump the shark)
CSI
Without a Trace
Sunday: The Simpsons
Charmed
Desperate Housewives

The thing that makes it extra sad is that I work in TV. So all this on top of 8 hours of television news!

:stir: I get to "out" KAMommy... :stir:

Here's one that she forgot - "What Not To Wear"!

Clinton & Stacy could host a lawn mower maintenance episode and KAMommy'd be watching ;) ... Right, babe?

In all fairness, I've got to "out" myself a little too.
Usually when she's watching "America's Next Top Model", I'm in the same room playing 'Hearts of Iron 2' (an uber, uber, uber-geeky World War 2 strategy game) on my laptop. I find myself glancing over the top of my laptop disturbingly often. But (I swear) I'm only watching when the models are doing something HOT! :thumbsup2

My own "guilty-pleasures" TV shows:
Mystery Science Theater 3000 (I don't think it's on anywhere anymore, but I've got some on DVD)
America's Funniest Videos (reruns on WGN)
Three Stooges
Mr. Bean (Rowan Atkinson could do a lawn mower maintenance skit and I'd be watching)
Whose Line Is It Anyway?
VH1 Classics - 1980's music videos - I'd be fine if it was the only channel we had

Cartoons:
Dexter's Laboratory
Fairly Oddparents
Powerpuff Girls
Jimmy Neutron

BUT I watch them all with subtitles / closed-captions on, so at least I'm reading!

I don't think we could live without the TiVo :thumbsup2

I can't really remember the last time we actually watched a show when it actually aired. We either watch it after it is done or the following night so that we can FF the commercials.

He also calls the models bad names. Even though the names usually really fit. :rotfl:

(gasp) I don't know WHAT you're talking about. I was cursing at the Russkies (Japs, Krauts, Poles, etc. - whoever I was fighting at the time)...
