Will we have time runDisney question

if my children are participating in run Disney which starts at 11:00 would we have time to pick up their entries and race bibs that morning at the expo or do we have to spend time doing that on another day?

I didn't see any times listed for when the expo opens.

You didn't say which race weekend you are attending, so I will answer as if you are going to Star Wars. Kids races are on Friday and Saturday. Here is the Expo schedule:

10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 14, 2016

9:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. on Friday, April 15, 2016

10:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 16

If you get to the Expo BEFORE it opens on Friday, i.e. around 8:30, you will probably be in line early enough to get their stuff. In February, the line went all the way out to the parking lot and the wait was around an hour or more. For me, it would be cutting it too close for comfort but if that was the only way I could do it due to my arrival day then I would make it work by arriving VERY early. For a 9 am opening, people will begin lining up around 8. Once you pick up their packets, you may have to go to the Expo building to get their t-shirts. I can't remember if kids shirts were in the packet pick up bldg or not. On the other hand, if you are doing kids races on Saturday, then no, it will be next to impossible to get done in time if you go on the day of.

Sorry. We are planning to do marathon weekend next January.

The kids can either run on Thursday or Friday. Either will work. We just have to choose by April when we sign up.

The kids' shirts are also in the main Expo vendor building. If you'll be going to the Expo on Wednesday, set aside a lot of time.

We went to the Princess Expo on Friday (2nd day) in the late morning and walked up to pick up our packets as well as our shirts - no wait at all.

Ok, I get it! I just threw away my 2016 Marathon Weekend schedule so I can't even give you an estimate based on this year. I believe the hours were basically the same as for Star Wars. I bet that it will open at 9 on Thursday and Friday. Of course, it will start on Wednesday. Every day will be busy so if you go on the same day as your race plan to arrive VERY early. You can get there early if you take a taxi or drive your car. The buses didn't start until 1/2 hour before the Expo opened and it was already packed by then by people who drove over. The crowds are somewhat more manageable (compared to Princess weekend) for the Expo because people are spread out over more days.

Be sure to check out the forum called "Just for Fun". There is a runDisney forum there. Also check out the WISH forum where there are discussions about "Events and Competition". The runDisney forum is new this week so it does not have as much info as the events and competition thread. Lots of very helpful people over there. It is a good place to ask questions if you have more. I just wanted to make sure you knew about it!
