We went to the GG during our last visit and enjoyed it. The mixed greens salad, rolls and citrus butter was a nice start. My DD6 didn't care for the greens, she's a romaine and iceburg only salad girl
The main dish had a nice sampling of items. The turkey was similar to LTT, as well as the flank steak. We aked our server not include the catfish on our plate, so can't say anything about that. The sides of mashed pots, stuffing, and assorted veggies were delicious. I guess the fact that they are grown within Epcot made them taste even better!
Our children were given mac and cheese and chicken fingers, however we shared all of the above with them. The sever didn't make a fuss when we asked for seconds of almost everything. Dessert was some type of irish cream bread pudding for the adults, good...not great, and make it yourself cupcakes for the kiddies. This was a big hit with my girls. It also was a nice change instead of the constant kiddie sundeas.
Character interaction was great. We saw each character several times.
I didn't like sitting in the upper section of the restaurant. We unable to see much if any of The Land ride, which is part of the appeal of this place. So if you go ask for the lower seating area.
So go ahead and enjoy yourself at GG, I think you will be happy!
