Will Walmart Price Match Target?

Will Walmart price match to Target? I was to get DS2 the Cozy Coupe that's on sale at Target this week for $34.99. I just checked Walmart's website and it's $48.88 there! I have a gift card to Walmart so I'd like to get the car there if I can get it for the same price. The car is in our local ad and I would obviously take that with me. I will probably call the store to double check just to be safe but I'm hoping so many of you will tell me they'll do it that I won't have to bother!

My "plan" is to use the gift card to get the car then use the money that I was going to spend on the car and buy a sand/water table from a consignment shop (here's to hoping it's still there on Friday!) - bingo! Two big toys for the price of one!

I believe their price match policy is still in place; they simply don't advertise it as openly.

As long as you take the ad and it's not associated with a discount card program, I'd think Walmart should match the price. Go for it.

The local one will if it is exactly the same item and if I have the ad.

Ours will as long as it's IN STOCK at the advertising store.

Yes as long as the ad shows the exact item with a price listed and take the entire ad in, not just that page because they want the dates.

Additionally, our WalMart will price match if the competitor store is within 30 miles.

Thanks! That's good to know. Thankfully our Target and Walmart are within that distance so I think I'll be ok. Here's to hoping they'll have them in stock when I can go shopping
