Will this work? WDW before the cruise and Cocoa Beach after

We are doing a 4 night cruise and want to go to WDW for the 3 days before (we have some park passes to use) and then we want to stay for a night or 2 after the cruise at Cocoa Beach at a hotel close to Port Canaveral. Is this doable using Disney transportation? Do they leave the resorts early enough in the am to get to Port Canaveral in plenty of time?

DCL transfers from WDW resorts pick up once from each resort sometime in the 10:45-12:30 window. Each bus may pick up at up to 3 resorts, or just one, depending on how many people from each resort need the transport. The trip takes about an hour.

There is no Disney transportation from Port Canaveral to Cocoa Beach hotels.

We found a hotel with shuttle service to/from Cape Canaveral, can we take Disney transportation back to MCO the next day? Or does it have to be the same day your cruise is done?

It has to be the same day.

But don't let that stop you from doing what you want to do. Rent a car, take a shuttle, take a taxi, Uber, or Lyft, or hire a towncar/limo.
