This is the plan so far for 12/27/14 (during Christmas week)...Do you think this will work?

-Arrive at EPCOT at around 3:30pm
-Sum of All Thrills 3:30pm-4:00pm (is a half hour wait reasonable thinking? could we do Sum of All Thrills after dinner around 9:00pm or does it close?)
-FP Mission Space 4:00pm
-FP Soarin 5:00pm
-FP Nemo 6:00pm

(We won't be rushing to make it for those fastpasses really, right? Are they too close together?)

Dinner at Coral Reef 7:00pm
-Spaceship Earth (how long should I expect wait to be around 9:00pm?)
-Test Track (single rider if need to..how long is expected wait at 9:00pm?)
-Captain EO

Thanks in advance! :)

This is Christmas Week...THE busiest week of the year at WDW.

I don't see that you will be able to get all of those FP+ times to begin-with
(but you can maybe get SOME.)

If you get in half of those attractions, consider yourself lucky.

So, I looked at touring plans to see what they project for this crowd level 10 day and to be honest - I don't believe it....the project 30 min for SOAT, 70 for Soarin all day, 65 for TT (half that for single rider), etc. if this happens, it would be a miracle for Christmas!!

The wait for sum of all thrills is more than 30 minutes in September, so I think you should increase it to at least 45 min plus 15 minutes to complete it. It still closes at 7 even though it's a busy holiday week.

What day are you able to make your FP+? I think that will significantly impact your ability to get those times so closely together...I think you may have to accept whatever you can get for Soarin and fit the others around it - but it seems you can go from SOAT to Soarin instead of MS if needed to swap?

Also - I think you may want to FP spaceship earth instead of Nemo? SSE has a much higher probability to spike than Nemo - which has an easy queue and you should be able to squeeze it in before your dinner reservation (it also closes at 7) without a FP. Maybe do SSE FP for after dinner - 8:15-9:15 time?

I think test track should be assumed at 90 min instead of the suggested 65 from TP and single rider being half that...

I would consider myself very lucky! I guess this plan involves that we wouldn't mind standing in long lines to get onto Test Track and if the others are long, we don't care if we skip them.

From reading on the boards, it seems that most people say that it is difficult to get fastpasses for A&E and 7DMT but besides that, most rides are all open at the 60 day mark. I am somewhat flexible for when we ride Soarin and Mission Space (before or after dinner) but do you expect that getting fastpasses in the evening at all for these attractions on this day will be difficult? We check in 12/23 so this day (12/27) is somewhat later in the trip so we can book before the 12/27's 60 day mark so I think we will be ahead of maybe some people who check in later than 12/23.

I just wouldn't be so picky about the times. You'll have a much better chance that way! Work around your most important FP that you want! Good luck and have fun!

Thank you for all the great advice! I check in on 12/23/14 (four days before the 60 days for 12/27) so I make FP+ reservations on 10/24/14. Do you think this is early enough to be able to get evening fastpasses for Soarin and Mission Space? I am somewhat flexible about when we do each of them (3-6pm or after dinner 8:30-10:00pm).

So...this is a plan after adjusting the wait times you suggest which I know can't really be planned because depends on what fastpasses are available...

Sum of all Thrills: roughly 3-4pm
FP Mission Space 4pm
FP Soarin 5pm (we could always do this after dinner around 9pm too or swap Mission Space and Soarin etc. or do Mission Space after dinner)
FP Nemo 6pm

Dinner at Coral Reef 7pm
Spaceship Earth (or a FP if we didn't get it earlier)
Test Track roughly 9:00-10:00pm (we can do single rider)

Thank you!!! :)

In your original question you mentioned nothing about being able to make your
FP+ reservations 60 days in advance.

You just asked about riding attractions at X time, at least some of those with using FP.

We can only answer questions with specificity if all specifics of dates, plans, and other particulars
about your trip are offered in the question.

Details!
We need DETAILS! ;)

I just made my FP for October 1 - and I could not get back to back times in the afternoon in Epcot - they are 10-15 minutes apart and there were 25 minute gaps for SSE around 2pm. I don't know if that is because Disney doesn't release as many FP for that time or if they were already taken - but my point remains that you may need to have some flex in your times.

I don't think you should expect to get a 4th FP, but it can't hurt to check the signs as soon as you finish your third (before dinner maybe send a runner to check?)

Thank you everyone! :) I will try to give more details ;)

When I originally asked the question, I wasn't really thinking about whether I would be able to get the fastpasses (although I am interested in this too and thank everyone for bringing up that point!!). However, what I am more concerned about is that we will at least be able to complete the following rides (in this order or some other order) assuming that we have these fastpasses. I am especially worried that Test Track may be a 90 minute wait even at 9:00pm although we could always do the single rider line. Does anyone think that I am making a mistake to rely on the evening to tour Epcot during Christmas week? We don't have any mornings scheduled to do Epcot although we are staying in the Epcot area resorts so I figure if we miss something we can always just hop over quickly (we have park hopper). Sorry for the confusion from my first post!!

3:00-4:00ish: Sum of all Thrills
4:00ish: FP Mission Space
5:00ish: FP Soarin
6:00ish: FP Nemo
Dinner 7:00pm Coral Reef
9:00ish: Spaceship Earth
9:15ish: Test Track

I think this is totally doable - but I wouldnt FP Nemo I would do it standby after soarin - and get a FP for SSE after dinner - that would also reduce the pressure of getting back to back to back FP time slots with no gaps (i would assume the last FP spot for Nemo is 6-7pm because it closes then so if you dont end up with back to back times you may have trouble booking it anyway).

I think every minute of the day is busy those weeks so not sure switching to a morning really matters. I think your willingness to stand in a line helps - obviously with this plan, you wont ve standing in many lines which is really good for the busiest week!

1. I would change your FP to Spaceship Earth from Nemo (and still expect a 20 minute wait plus the ride it's self.

2. SOAT will probably take closer to an hour at that time. Have you done it before? I would consider scrapping it. I love thrills and to me it's not worth it. It doesn't last long at all.

3. If you go at the start of one one FP window and at the end of another you can easily fit in Nemo, SOAT, or TT single rider between them.

4. I'd do either Soarin' or Nemo right before your ADR, but that's not a necessity.

For the record, I think at 60 days even at Xmas you can get any of the FP times you want at that time, at least close.

Try something like this:

FP1 Mission Space 4:00 (ride at 3:55)
Ride TT single rider
FP2 Spaceship Earth 5:00 (ride as soon as you get off TT, close to 6)
FP3 Soarin 6:00 (Ride as close to 6 as possible.center your plans around this FP, change other FP times accordingly)
There should be time to ride Nemo before your ADR, but if not ride it after. Might even be time to ride it before your Soarin' FP and ride soarin towards the end of the window.

Captain EO....just don't watch it. haha. but you can fit it in after dinner if you want.
