I just scored a BOG ADR for lunch tomorrow at 11:40. Problem is we have an IASW FP+ for 10:55-11:55 and PP from 11:55 to 12:55. I was originally planning to do lunch after that. Will this work or do I risk missing the PP FP+? I don't really want to feel like we are running around and rushing through lunch, but I have no idea if ADRs generally run on time at BOG or how long it actually takes to eat there...I'm kind of assuming it takes a little longer than a regular QS. Can anyone shed light?? Thank you!

Personally, I think you'll be hard-pressed to make it to your PP FP before the time window ends. I was looking back through my photos from last October and it took us 45 minutes from when we checked-in to when our food arrived at the table. Most of the time was spent waiting in line to get into BOG to get to one of the kiosks. We didn't pre-order our meal, so I don't know how much time that would have saved.

You should be fine doing IASW before lunch and PP right after. They are all very close together. I would order lunch ahead of time online though since you won't want to dally.

It's close, but you should have no worries.

IASW - takes 20 minutes. Arrive by 11am and you're out before 11:30.

Takes 1 minute to get to BOG. You can pre-order your lunch. Out by 12:50.
Getting seated is the delay, not getting the food. And it's QS - how long does it take you to eat a sandwich.
Think of it this way, if the elapsed time was over an hour, Disney would figure out a way to make it far less - and they have.

PP - arrive no later than 12:55.

It's close, but you'll make it.

I get what you're saying but I think unless I can move it later I might have to skip it. That's a lot with my 2 kids and my parents. It takes me 5 minutes to eat a sandwich...my 7 year old...could take 30!! :crazy2: I'll keep checking...we have two other MK days as well...it seems like things open up the day before as people change their plans so it might work out. Thanks so much for the info and advice !! :thanks:

I think you'll be fine, but make sure you are watching the clock, and as PPs said, it's good bc everything is close to each other! Have a great time!

Keep looking. But personally I would keep this if you don't find something better. Show up to IASW 5 minutes early, then go straight to BOG when you're done. I bet they'd seat you 10-15 minutes early. We ordered our food online and were seated within minutes of checking in.

Advice: Be Our Guest for dinner is superior. It's not cheap, but it's pretty good for the relative value. And The Beast is usually there too.

For what you're trying to accomplish - we'd be eating at Columbia House when they open at 11am and there is no wait and plenty of seating. Small World is right there.

Or, if you're an adventurous eater - Fried Chicken & Waffle (or ham & cheese waffle) at Sleepy Hollow - from 11am to 4pm. And your 7 y.o. will likely enjoy just a sweet waffle with fruit…..it's Disney, it's OK.

Thinking more about this...if we pre-order food, would it really take more than an hour for lunch at BOG? (even with my daughter eating slower than your average person??) If we got there at 11:35 for 11:40 ADR we could make PP if we get out by 12:40.

I think they'll let you in for your FP 5 minutes early(we have done this before), so go there at 10:50. And you have a grace period after as well- I think it's 15 min max.

Thanks for the CHH tip! I'm actually not excited about the BOG lunch menu at all, but we are already eating in EPCOT tomorrow night. CHH may work well for us!

Seriously just preorder, we preordered stood in no lines and were out within 35 minutes

You'll be fine! I'd estimate 45 min but even if BOG takes an hour you're still good with 15 min to spare. I would not worry about this schedule at all.

I agree. You'll be fine so long as you do the preorder of the meals. I preorded my meals, got to bypass the kiosk line & was able to find seating immediately. Food arrived within minutes. Have fun!

Pre-order your lunch. Be at the IASW FP+ line at 10:50am (they let you in early sometimes!) Try to check in early to BoG. But even if you get seated on time and it takes an hour, that would only put you at 12:40pm, and you'd have another 15 minutes to walk to PP, which is like 2 minutes away. Plenty of time, IMO.

I would be looking to try to push PP back a bit if at all possible. We traveled with another family and one of our meals (Sci-Fi) they raced through and jetted out because they had a TOT FP+ they didn't want to miss. It was a serious bummer because it was literally the only time that day we ended up seeing them and they could not get out fast enough (I had not yet paid for my family yet and they were gone). Luckily our FP+ for after our BOG lunch allowed us enough time to sit and enjoy our meal together. I just looked up our times and our lunch was at 2:25 with our FP+ from 3-4, I remember we walked in just before 4 because the FP+ line appeared to be a little long and I was wondering what would happen if we didn't make it to the second tap before the time ran out. It ended up that the line moved super fast and we were through before 4 with no problem. BOG was a place I really wanted to enjoy and I would have been sad to be constantly looking at my watch making sure we were okay on time (and I would have been if our time was too close). Just personal preference but I would try to push the PP time a little later if at all possible so I could enjoy my lunch without time watching (I really did enjoy the lunch too, the pork was delicious and from what I understand it is the same as the dinner pork).

You will be fine. The FP+ will scan green 5 minutes before your FP+. Enter Small World at 10:50. You should be done by 11:10 or 11:15. Head from there to BOG. I bet they will let you in early. Pre-Order your food. You should be done there by 12:30 or 12:40 at the latest (and maybe earlier), leaving you 15 minutes to walk to PP, which is not far. Plus, technically the FP+ at PP should scan green for a 15 minute grace period after your time has expired. I wouldn't count on that because they certainly could change the system at any time, but I would not cancel any of the reservations.

Just wanted to report back that this worked out just fine! Did small world at 10:50 and were so early for BOG that we did under the sea ride then BOG at 11:35 (5 mins early), finished lunch before 12:30 (pre-ordered food) and had plenty of time to make PP FP+ before hour passed at 12:55. It was a MNSSHP night though so park was not that crowded. Thanks for all the tips!!

If you are just wanting to eat inside of BOG but you aren't thrilled about the menu.......you can do what we did, we just preordered cupcakes and sodas. We got to eat inside the restaurant and see everything but we were out of there in less than 30 minutes and it took us that long because we spent some time looking around all the rooms.

Our theory at WDW is.....if donuts are a breakfast food then ice cream/cake/cupcakes/etc.... can count as lunch/dinner at WDW. (We don't do it often, but sometimes 3 full meals a day is way too much for us!)
