Will there be time for Disney Springs?

DD & I are arriving on a late flight on a Friday in August. SW says we'll be landing at 9:15 pm. We'll be taking the Magical Express to CSR without picking up our luggage.

We have to visit guest services to activate our tickets and I would like to be able to do so before our first morning.

Does anyone have any idea if we'll have time to get to Disney Springs to do so that night? I'm not even sure what time Guest Services is open on a Friday night.

You will probably get to the DS guest services around 11:30 - 11:45. Your plane lands at 9:15 but by the time you get off it will be more like 9:30 - 9:40 depending on where you sit and make your way to the DME. Then you need to allow 90 minutes to get to your resort. Especially late night flights because the wait time for DME to leave the airport are some times a bit longer of a wait. Then catch the bus to DS and then make the walk to guest services will be 11:30 to 11:45 before you get there.

So it'll be tight. I won't count on getting the tix until the next morning when booking my FP just in case.

I think it will be close. You often have to wait for a ME bus to fill when you arrive during the evening hours, so it can take more than the "usual" 90 minutes estimate from gate to resort. That can be especially true around park closing times.

Consider taking a lyft/uber to DS from CS. DS buses do not come all that often. You can take a bus back when time doesn't matter so much.

Good point. I've never arrived so late but I'll keep the Uber option in mind when I see what time we arrive at CSR.

Might be a dumb question since it looks like your time will be tight. Why not activate your tickets at CSR??

I don't think I can. They're Canadian resident tickets and they say to go to Guest Services to activate.
