Please say it is not so. Does anyone know if they will close the parks due to crowds the week before Easter. Me and my fianc'e will be on our honeymoon from 4-5-04 - 4-10-04. We are staying at CBR and if they do close due to max compacity, will they still allow resort guests in the park?

There are many levels of "closing". They start with employees (visiting not working obviously), offsite is next and on-site is last. Closures are usually more prevelant at Christmas/New Years. Generally there is always somewhere you can get in.

I wouldn't stress over it.

I agree,I wouldn't stress over especially since you're staying on site.:D

Wow you're big day is getting close! Best of luck and congratulations to you!

Have magical honeymoon!:sunny:

Though the crowd at Easter time about matches Christmas week, it has one advantage over Christmas time that helps keep the theme parks from going to capacity -- both water parks are open, its warm, and those fill to capacity (thus taking some away from the theme parks). Nevertheless there is a risk of reaching capacity that time of year particularly Easter Sunday at MK. However, it is unlikely to reach the level of "capacity" where you would be excluded since you are staying on site. And actually the usual first level of capacity is the closing of the parking lot and thus those with cars are the first to be excluded regardless of whether they are staying on or off site.

Thanx for the replies guys, this really helps. As the "big day" gets closer and closer I am and I am sure my fianc'e will both be stressing. I just want everything to be perfect. But here is another question. Do you think that we still might be able to right the "highlight" rides with out a problem? Like Pirates, HM, SM,.... THis is the first time for us both. SO let us know please.

Thanx again guys.:wave2: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :boat: :genie:

Here comes the planner in me. The rides you mentioned don't have FP. I would grab a fast pass for with Space Mountain, Buzz or Jungle Cruise depending on your favorite and than hit SM world and work your way around to HM and Pirates if you are there early it can easily be done with small waits.

Enjoy

I heard that if you have an AP you will be allowed entry into the park no matte what - does anyone know if this is true?

we have PAP's and the saying is: " guaranteed entry into the parks even when at capacity" just my .02 ...if the parks are at capacity: you don't want in anyway.....we were there for the week leading up to easter sunday in 2003 and I don't remember being turned away from any of the parks....the only parks I remember being closed for being at capacity were the water parks....which were pretty much each day by about 1pm and usually reopened around 3pm or so....
we found the crowds to be extremely manageable with emh and fastpass last year...
