on the trip coming up it will be my 2nd one, but my first trip was when i was a toddler so i dont remember anything from it. will the cms still count it as my first time? i was wondering because i was all pschyed about getting a first-time pin thingy and my mom was like but it is your 2nd time.:confused3

the CMs don't do anything to verify that it is in fact your first visit. if you want the first visit button, just ask for it at guest relations and you can have one. Have fun!

Trips that you can't remember shouldn't count! You go get that pin, hon!

I agree, you get a do-over because you don't remember it. Wear the pin all the time and enjoy your 1st magical vacation!

Where do you get these pins? I've got 3 first-timers going!

When you enter the park go to guest relations and ask for the pins. They have different kinds of pins like 1st visit, It's my Birthday, and Anniversary.

They gave me a first visit pin in April since it had been 20 years since my first and only visit and it was DH and DD's first visit.

In addition to guest relations at the parks, I believe all of the on-property hotels have them at the front desk. We were given ours when we checked in at WL.

I would ask when you check in. I got my birthday pin and my husband got his 1st timer pin even though he had been when he younger. My birthday was on the reservation so the cast member just gave me my pin and asked if it was our first time. My husband said that he had been years ago and I told him that I was there in 2002. I think we both got pins for 1st timers.

My daughter gets a pin daily in every park. She says it's her 1st trip pin of the day. Each park used to have a different b-day pin even the Disney Cruise Line had one but as of 2007 all the b-day pins are the same for each park. Bummer. She is 7 & can get away with this sort of behavior. I even made the comment to Guest Realations when we were there in Sept that when we flew home that it would be my husband b-day & he gave us a pin to give to him also. Disney really knows how to make all feel special.
