Okay, I just gotta say that I work for an educational publisher, so we do kids' books as part of our curricula. And the books have to be decodable, so younger readers see "tee hee" instead of "laugh." So now whenever I see "tee hee" in those first grade books....

You all have me just giggley tonight, and I thank you for that. I went for a walk after dinner and began contemplating the trip and all the money we're spending and how I want a house someday and another child and to pay off the student loan so the payments go down even more and why am I spending so much on this one trip and coming home and having a little giggle really made me feel better. Not perfect but better.

Why yes! And ditto on Boo to You, I love the parade and the song. Are you planning on going to MNSSHP when you're on vacation? They only sell this particular CD at events like that or the Pirate & Princess Party.

Ugh, no parties for me this trip. I knew I was going to miss MNSSHP, but was hoping they'd have a Pirate and Princess party going on, as I believe they did last August. No such luck this year. So disappointed. My mom and I were going to kidnap the girls and take them to the party. And now I'm going to miss out on the CD as well.

I was going to guess the same thing. Hands down my favorite John Huges movie, mostly due to Judd Nelson. I was watching Pretty in Pink last night. While I like it, the end was always lost on me, because I wanted Duckie to get the girl.
