Will TarzansKat meet Captain Jack? ~A Pirate's Life for 3 Pre-Trippie~ We're back!

Why Staples...well because I have to make my very own trip binder like Charleston Princess of course! DF is going to llooooooove me. :rotfl2:

:goodvibes You made my day with this!

I am so exhausted, and I just want to cry. I can't wait for DH to come home so someone can help me.

You need a mantra to whisper during these dark moments and days. I know! How about, "In 4 months, 2 weeks, and 3 days I will be in WDW. In 4 months, 2 weeks, and 3 days I will be in WDW." :grouphug:

Because of her I got myself a little binder started over the weekend... :cool1: :cool1: If it weren't for Dis we might just drive our families completely crazy with all the extra energy we would have.

Hurray! :cheer2: My plot to become the Supreme Ruler of Binder Design is in motion!

I have two additional mantras I'd like to add:

said in a whisper...book the Poly...book the Poly...

and

4 months, 2 weeks, and 3 days closer to CJ; 4 months, 2 weeks, and 3 days closer to CJ

Actually, it's funny that you wrote that, because as I was driving to and from the doc's office in pouring rain that was darn near impossible to see through on the highway, all I could think was, don't worry, honey, you'll go on vacation in September and this will be just a memory...pukefest 2008.:lmao:

Multiple mantras are always good! :thumbsup2

I do it all the time -- tonight while I was stuck in the quagmire of evening chores, I kept thinking, "in six weeks I will be at Epcot -- in six weeks I will be at Epcot!" Sometimes it is the only thing that helps as I trudge through the monotony of making peanut butter and jelly sandwiches!

I think you should get tshirts for all 3 of you saying, "I survived Pukefest 2008 and all I got was this lousy tshirt" It would be great if you could also get a fake dob of puke on the shirts. Make it more authentic. I can just see you now pushing your stroller in the park with your shirts. :lmao:

Glad to have made your day. I did get a mini binder, when I get more done on it I will post on my pretrip. Although I don't think it will live up to your greatness.:worship: Next will be my plotting to steal LGMH's.

Remember, that binder has been in the making since last August -- you can find a lot to put in a binder in nine months!

I also informed DF that I want to purchase a printer. We don't have one at home, I use the one at work or my parents house. Now I NEED one. I have lots of printing to do to make my binder purdy. :dance3:

I just had to quote you because I love the word quagmire.:thumbsup2

That was the heartiest most out loud laugh I've had in days. :rotfl2: I am officially DED. Thanks for that. :lmao:

Happy to help! I chuckled while I was writing it. I would just love to see peoples reactions to the shirts. Especially on your DS. :rotfl:

I can't even begin to imagine what people would make of it.

I'd prefer to have t-shirts staying a pirate's life for 3...but I think pukefest 2008 is funnier. :lmao:

Yes, you need one for home. Ours is currently out of printer ink, and I am feeling it. I need to run and get some this week.

:rotfl2: It makes a sucking noise like quicksand in my mind when I say it. :)

Maybe 4 months from now when Tink and I are sipping whatever rum concotion we chose at the Tambu Lounge and I'll say casually...remember the puke fest of 2008? How my pre-trip report was overtaken by descriptions of bodily functions no one wants to think about much less discuss? Then we'll nod and laugh because it will be over! :rotfl2:

My goodness. We'll have such wonderful things to reminisce about. And in ten years time, you can retell the story and your newly teenaged son will say, "Mom, who was that crazy woman you talked to about my throwing up on everything we own? Oh...and can I go to the mall?"

I'm actually soliciting advice here. I'm taking a look at my Animal Kingdom day, and I had us doing counter service for lunch, I was thinking Restaurantosaurus. But the more I look at it, that seems to me like "normal" counter service fare. I'm wondering if any of you have eaten at Flame Tree Barbecue?

I have to chime in that Restaruantosaurus is the typical counter service fare. I LOVE Flame Tree. I've never had a bad meal there. The corn bread is particularly yummy. It's a good value - lots of good food for the price, in my opinion. But I've heard great things about Pizzafari too, if you're looking for inside seating with A/C. Never eaten there myself.

It is so cool! A bird's nest on our wreath on our door. We showed it to DS and he was very excited. Currently we're up to five eggs.

I used to deliver the newspaper back in my early non-money-having college days. One morning I walked up to the porch of one of the houses on our route and discovered a bird nesting in one of their hanging plants. I got to see that little sparrow family from nest to egg to brand new hatchlings to an empty nest. Very sweet and fun for DS! :cutie:

Cantina de San Angel has Mexican food that I actually like.

I second this. I love getting a snack here in the late afternoon and sitting at the tables by the water. However, BEWARE, the birds here are experienced scavengers. One actually sat ON my table and watched me eat. I left him a plain nacho.

Also, the Land pavilion has an excellent selection of lots of different kinds of food. Great if you and DF are in the mood for something different.

I'm hoping to check out the new selections here. Last time I was in the World it was the old Sunshine Seasons Fair.

I am so exhausted, and I just want to cry. I can't wait for DH to come home so someone can help me.

I know you're in New England and sweetie, if you're in commuting distance to me, I'd happily come over and help you out. It breaks my heart to see sick babies.

Oh, and I'm puke-qualified. I was the designated mom at all of our post-high school parties. You know, around that time in your life when you think it smart to finish ALL of the Captain Morgan's? Yeah, I couldn't drink at the time (liver issues...not to mention I wasn't 21) so I ended up being the only sober one who held many heads, listened to many a spiel about how someone would "never drink again" and used gallons of disinfectant to clean. I think I can handle your DS. Although, just the puking. I think I might have to leave whatever comes out the other end all to you. ;)

Seriously. I hope the TK family is doing better. Lots of love from the Tinkerbellarella household.

I think you should get tshirts for all 3 of you saying, "I survived Pukefest 2008 and all I got was this lousy tshirt"

I would wear one for our Lapu Lapu Lovefest!

Okay, see now you have to get them printed out and post lost of pictures for my viewing pleasure! I think the bartender would get scared that Pukefest was going to happen after you lapu lapu consumption. :lmao:

Just checking in to see how your son is doing. And to give you this . I hope you are getting through this ok. I hate it when my dd is sick.

Hey guys.

I am

No throwing up for me...

other things of which we will not speak.

And I am so achey...

Blech.

Double blech. Maybe if I'm lucky I can actually respond to everyone tomorrow.

Love, TK
