I believe Song is going to start offering things like video games and watching tv stations in front of you at your seat, sometime in October. Are they going to charge to watch the t.v. portion of it?

I forgot to ask when this will begin, but the cable is free and the movies work like Pay Per View. You will also be charged for MP3 stuff. This almost makes up for the lack of free snacks/meal! Hope they have it when we go on 10/7. If not, my DD1 will provide the entertainment!

Just to clarify...

Song will have 36 757s.

Also, yes, one airplane will have the inflight entertainment starting sometime in the first half of October. I think that the other 35 airplanes will be fitted starting in December and going through the first quarter of 2004.

But I also heard something about having t.v. cable channels. Is this true and will you have to pay for that?

I think it is 24 live tv channels, just like JetBlue, and they will all be free. Beyond that, I don't know except for the PAY-PER-VIEW movies.

Very cool. Maybe my boys will get Nickelodeon and I can watch Regis. ok, far fetched, I know :p .
