I just love all the ideas here!

Would someone be willing to teach me how and what programs you are using for these fabulous creations?

I use photoshop elements. It is a lot easier to use than full blown photoshop but there is still a steep learning curve. There are lots of great places to learn how to use it. One is www.elementsvillage.com. Another is youtube as there are TONS of great video tutorials that walk you through step by step how to do different things like name fills.

Here is an example of one video similar to lots of great videos that you can find out there that teach you how to use photoshop elements. This one teaches you how to make name fills:

I believe PSE is probably the better program to use/learn. I am still working on learning it. I use Photo-Impact and love it. But I don't think it is as vesatile as PSE. If you have PI, I made some directions up for someone else a while ago. If you want them, I will send them to you. If you have to choose a program, go with PSE, I think. Penny

I have PSE and am self-taught in its use. All I used was free tutorials from the web and the book Photoshop Elements for Windows, the Missing Manual.

And lots and lots of trial and error. I wanted to contribute to the forum and I worked at learning techniques. Learning all the time, actually!

You CAN learn to do many DISigns without digging into all the more involved features of the program. And when you are ready, you can advance!!

I keep saying I am going to learn PSE because you can do things that I can't with my Photo Impact. Your work is alwasy so beautiful. I even bought the latest one. That's my next goal, after I learn to E-bay. Penny
