Will Orlando Spring Break affect park attendance?

We've got reservations for March 15-19 (which is our Spring Break), but I've noticed that the Orlando schools have Spring Break the same week. I am VERY SERIOUSLY considering cancelling the trip because I really don't want to deal with huge crowds. We're used to going in early February with virtually no crowds, and I know this will be different. I don't mind some crowds, but if it's packed, I just really don't want to be there. Has anyone ever been when Orlando was on Spring Break? We're going in May again anyway, so it's not a big deal to skip it and do something else.

The attendance of the parks will go up quite a lot during Spring Break in Orlando. If you're used to going during relative down times, and you've got another trip planned in May anyway, I'd probably skip the Spring Break trip and find another vacation destination. The crowds won't be anywhere near what Disney gets for Christmas or J4, but it will be far more than you're used to, and you'll probably get frustrated with them pretty easily.

Maybe a trip to Disneyland??

Ooh - now Disneyland would be new for us - but a little bit far for us Florida residents to go. :) Hopefully one day though.
